A bowl from our carry-out order was made incorrectly despite the sticker on the lid listing all correct ingredients. I called to inform the store that I was coming back for the right food, and they said they'd have the corrected bowl ready for me behind the cashier. I arrived 10 minutes later, asked for my bowl, and nobody seemed to know what I was talking about. I had to wait another 10 minutes while they made other online orders for people who weren't there before they made the replacement bowl they said they'd have ready for me 20 minutes earlier. They did not offer an apology or to comp the incorrect bowl.
While I waited and missed out on eating dinner with my family, I had plenty of time to take pictures of how disgusting the store is. Food all over the counters and cash register. Dirty containers, knives, and cutting boards just sitting out. Broken chips and pieces of food and trash everywhere. Utensils and containers on the floor. Really gross. I'm actually glad I went in to see that I don't want to be eating food from this restaurant at all! I hope this review keeps other people from eating contaminated food and getting sick.
Edit: The owner replied to this review asking me to go to a link so they can "assist" with the situation. I just want to point out that this restaurant has many bad reviews, and while maybe getting a refund or some coupons is a nice gesture on behalf of the restaurant, there is no substitute for training your employees and enforcing protocols for how to prepare food in a clean environment that won't make...
Read moreI have been here twice and I will say that the food has been good and fresh each time.
That said, it’s amazing what one notices when standing six feet away from the counter for nearly 30 minutes waiting for an internet order. Twice now I’ve ordered online via my app and specified immediate pickup. What usually happens at other Chipotle locations is that I walk into the store, pick up my order and leave. This location is the exception.
The staff here places 100% priority on walk in customers. Internet orders are completely disregarded until the store line is empty. Earlier this evening, there were twelve (12) of us customers all waiting for our internet orders. Once I saw the manager come out from the back and I thought “hey, cool, she is here to help get caught up.” Nope, she pulled a few people from the front line and instructed them to clean the floor in the back.
The twelve of us stood there as one or two walk-in customers would come in and the staff would rush to help them while ignoring the growing stack of online orders. Thankfully the walk-in business slowed down and the back room floor was cleaned, so they were then able to process our orders.
Spoiler alert: Customers don’t download the app, sign up for an account, order online for pickup so that we can wait 30 minutes for our orders to be ready. I’ve had this same experience twice at this location, and never before at other Chipotle locations...
