It was Valentine's day, so there was a long wait time even with a reservation I still waited for the table for about half an hour. Luckily it wasn't too cold that day because we were outside waiting. The host wouldn't call names other than from his little podem. For having most of your customers outside, because we couldn't all be in the front door, you would think they would have a system of notifications for those right outside the door. The host Would literally pass up people because he couldn't walk 10 ft to call a name out the door. My wife ordered the soup and salad so instead of bringing the table's food all together how it should have her food was there 15 to 20 minutes before my son's and I food. That's not how we eat. We all eat together. Put us at a small booth when Im over 6 ft, football playing soon over 6 ft and my wife. Elbow to elbow . Cold hard bread and hard to speak butter . Idk. Been to the outback before during busy times and had superior service and great food. And for my son's 30 dollar steak it had a lot of cartilage and was kinda not seasoned well or cooked to correct tenderness of his liking. Asked for med rare and it looked like it was grey and I'd say damn near mooing at us . Wouldn't recommend this location. Which is sad because I know how it could be managed and the food more than enjoyable. Guess the sign of times is every where.people want top pay for mediocre work. And it showed when you go to these places that have a proven successful format for the restaurant all the employees need to do is follow and execute the game plan ....but everyone wants to think they know better, or don't know how to listen. That or they need to be cotteled because a manager told them about them selves and now they can't work because of the verbal abuse. Anyways I don't suggest this location. They need a new g.m or...
Read moreLast Thursday my husband and I drove all the across Wichita to eat at our favorite Steakhouse! We live in country between El Dorado and Andover, so to say it's a long drive only to be sorely disappointed is an understatement. We got seated, and asked if we wanted the bread, which in my mind's eye is a given. My husband had the new Fettuccine with Chicken and Shrimp, I had the the larger cut of steak, with a loaded baked potato and a salad. I ordered my steak medium rare, it was so raw in the middle I almost threw up! I sent it back thinking the chef would fix the problem and not be upset, apparently not because when it came back it was kinda/sorta overdone, which is why I really don't like to send one back. But when the steak is so raw even my husband can't eat it, it's too raw!! The loaded baked potato had a spit of butter, barely had any cheese or sour cream and the onion was invisible, it was so small that calling it an Outback baked potato is a joke. The salad was normal size, but the dressing barely covered the bottom of the bowl!! We spent $50.00 simply due to the fact we truly believed that of all the other Steak places closer to us, that all would be well! "Not so much", we won't be back not until things change. We were so disappointed when the Eastside closed down, we went once a week and not one single solitary time did we ever have an issue. We treat the staff with respect, we tip well and so I'm having a hard time wrapping my mind around why you guys have dropped the ball or steak or whatever it is your doing. I never, ever write reviews but this time it's more a reflection on our colossal disappointment. We spent well over $70.00 on gas, the food we didn't enjoy and the tip, because although he should know that the bread and butter is a given, we always tip our server even at the Sonic. So we truly hope that you...
Read moreMe and my husband went in on a Wednesday night to grab some dinner. Seating was super fast, we got seated at our table, the waiter came over asked for our drink order and then asked if we would like an appetizer. We placed our drink and app order, once our waiter came back to the table we started to place our order. Here is when things got bad, we always come to Outback for the bone in ribeyes! We start to place our order and the waiter informs us that they don’t have any bone in ribeyes. Clearly we are a bit upset so the waiter said for us a take a minute and decide what else we would like. We decided to just get the boneless ribeyes even though it was 5oz less than what we wanted. This is when things turn worse, we start to place our side orders and then the waiter informs us that they just ran out of potatoes, no baked, no sweet, not even mashed potatoes. Says we can get fries and another side. Our waiter can clearly see we are more upset at this but instead of just apologizing he proceedes to say “well if you would like a bone in ribeye with a potato maybe you should go down the street to Texas Roadhouse” I am shocked at his statement. So we just settle for something else as a manager comes to our table because someone told her she needed to check on us, we explain the situation and she was just as upset that one of her waiters would say that to us. She apologized and then said let me see what I can do. Low and behold she comes out of the back with a loaded potato for my husband. The manager was completely understanding and apologized again but then time comes for the bill and not only did I not get a potato side they charged me extra for the side that replaced it. When the waiter brought us our bill he even said I don’t know if this is even right, check it over. I will never go back to this...
