Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Wichita

RUN. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE INSIDE AND OUT. Dirty. Zero Customer Service. Waited 25+ Mins in line and again in store. Utter Chaos.

Watched probably 12 Employees tonight running around the oddly shaped store, not one washed their hands going from cash register to food. It was CHAOS!!! Register Counters had melted ice cream DRYING on them, because no one else as tending to them. Apparently Bathrooms were out of everything too.

Girl in the Drive Thru window this evening was chewing her nails and was fiddling the fry scoop as she waited for food order to come up, and it wasn’t a minute or 2. We waited 25 minutes for our very simple order. Others too were also growing upset about their wait, but they were given extra fries for their wait. I was never given a drink to my combo either. Food wasn’t even warm. I watched it sit on the counter. Absolutely appalling and gross. Not to mention I’m pretty sure they gave us a burger some angry lady in the drive thru picked thru and handed back because it wasn’t hers. Disgusted.

This was after we decided to give them a second chance as we live close by and recently tried them for the first time since they opened. We sat in the drive thru for nearly 30mins.

There was no leadership. No structure. Clearly no cleanliness standards, including hygiene. No Customer Service Period. No Market Checkout either just waiting in line for half an hour.

I recently came to this store and had the unfortunate experience of meeting your employee Leah who took my order in the drive though , I came to get a meal to feed my family and I spent a good amount of money because this is our weekly family treat after church! and not only was she rude and disrespectful over the speaker , once I finally 30 minutes later got my food , I noticed I was missing a couple items so I pulled back through the very long line and waited another 10 minutes then I politely informed her of my missing items ,and she had the audacity to try and tell me that I kept the items and was trying to get new ones for free . That is not only Ridiculous,but I’m highly offended after my repeated business . I’m disappointed in this employee and the management for allowing this kind of behavior , and I’m disappointed in her for treating another human being like that, I pray for her fellow employees that have to deal with her and her lying and attitude ,and I hope this review is the final straw for the management and they fire this employee,this has not been my first problem with her. this treatment was inhumane and embarrassing and I will make sure none of me,my family or my friends will ever come back to this location again. you have lost a very...

After I left Southern California, I quickly started to learn how spoiled I was, and how much worse all food everywhere in the USA is in comparison. However, Braum's is worthy of praise and could stand on their own even in the greater Los Angeles area if they opened a location there.

Are they the best burgers? No, they're good though. Then what gives? Why did I give them a 5 star? Okay, so I was moving from Washington, Pennsylvania to Sioux City, Iowa (look it up on Google maps, it's important) and I made SURE we took a detour down here to Wichita, Kansas just to get their MILKSHAKES!

How do you feel about Girl Scouts Thin Mints cookies? Do you keep them in the freezer like I do, so they're extra minty and crispy when you eat them? Well, Braum's Mint Shake tastes like a milkshake version of exactly that. Why else do you think we drove hundreds of miles and multiple days out of the way just to get a milkshake? Yes, they ARE that good here!
