In response to the owner, No!! My mother never once commented that our baby shower cake "looked great" before leaving your bakery! She was really upset about it, and made a point to call me to tell me that your bakery didn't design the cake the way I had asked and visually showed in my original design for my baby shower. We were "ALL" very disappointed about the cake design, especially when we had originally offered to give the staff member a copy of our original design so that there wouldn't have been any mistakes made on our cake. Since she said that she didn't need the design and would remember it, perhaps better staff communication should be required, especially when someone other than the person who took the order is decorating the cake. My mother asked that the letter size be made smaller on the top of the cake so that we had room to place our separate fondant order from a different bakery on the top of the cake. Again, that would've been easy to spot for the decorator had our copy of the design been taken like we originally offered. And NO, I never said that I was a decorator!! What I told your staff member was that I had worked with fondant before. A baby's head is a small round ball of fondant, that happened to be sitting on top of a larger ball of fondant which of course was the pumpkin. A sculpting tool is used to create divets on different areas of the ball to give it that pumpkin shape. And by the way, we paid a separate baker $40.00 for that so called "labor intensive" fondant work, "All" of the fondant work! They felt the job wasn't anywhere near the labor intensive as you described it was, at all. The 2 things we liked about the cake your bakery did was the taste, and the surprise glitter that was sprinkled all over the place, even though we never asked for it. Considering that your bakery had already messed up on the letter size and messed up on the polka dot design, the last thing my mother wanted to do, would be to ask to have even more repairs be made in the back. She shouldn't have needed to ask for any repair work if your staff member had just originally accepted our design copy from the start. It was an incredibly simple order...a strawberry flavored cake with strawberry glaze filling, covered in white frosting with tiny pink polka dots all over. And by the way, the original "huge" polka dots that were put on there, were only put on the sides, when we asked for tiny pink polka dots all over the cake. To me that includes the top too. Again, that was clearly visible in the design I offered to give. Sorry, we will not be doing business with your bakery anymore. When it comes down to looking at our simple order, and it causes everyone to think that we must be picking up someone else's cake design, because I know this is clearly not what we asked for...and we had to get it fixed by someone at the Target bakery who easily comprehended what we originally had wanted from your bakery...it's simply time to do all of our cake ordering...

Very disappointed I had no choice to give them 1 star to write this review. I rather give them no star. So I went to Cheri to support small business with my cake order!! I was contacted the morning of that they didn’t have the cake topper I was told that they were going to do fondant topper which I was okay with it because I’ve seen choice of their home made fondant toppers. When I arrived and seen that the teenager mutant ninja turtles 2 tier cake with a cookie print ninja turtles wow it was disappointing why in the world would the make a 2 tier cake and just slap a printed cookie on top!!! I asked them why didn’t they communicated with me which I could of order online or order a toy topper which is too late no other place carries teenagers products This is unacceptable and I was told by one of the girls that they were a fast paced bakery! Well that’s why I ordered 1 week ahead to prepare and to tell me that the don’t have the topper and they are fast pasted well the cake looked like it was made fast paced the top tier looked lopsided and terrible but I had no choice because it was 3 hours until party time never again will I order or recommend this place to anyone. Cake for birthday parties are sentimental and priceless memories and I had a very bad experience with their quality of cake. I rather order the cake at Sam’s what always have better communication and quality of choices!!!! Please go to a place the care for their customers and value the child’s memory!!! *And if your response is like the others I made sure to let you guys know at the time of pick up I was disappointed and upset but you left me no choice but to take it home I will contact BBB about...

Ordered a cake for my daughter bday and paid around $74, i live around 25 mins from the cake shop and had a topper for the cake customized so they asked me to drop the topper off a few days before the party which i called and told them friday was when i could do it.. so i took an hour off of work to drive up there and back no problem but then on saturday when the cake was picked up for me and brought to me the cake topper was not on the cake.. my daughters party had already started and when i called cheris they said you have 2 options you can bring the cake up here and we’ll put it on (25 drive each way) or you can just come pick the topper up… i then asked for a refund and was given a 30% refund of $24 dollars.. i paid $27 for the customized topper that i ordered months ago.. since the party had already started i decided not to do either and leave the cake plain… the party was only 2 hours long i would have missed half of it if i drove out here.. and they pulled off cash for the refund because their system was down so i called this morning and asked if they could now put it on my card because i didn’t have time to get the topper they didn’t put on and it’s a long drive out there and gas is ridiculous and they would not. they said they would mail the cash.. i declined because i don’t think mailing cash is the best option, so now i have to take off work on friday again to go up there.. the cake tasted fine was really sweet and the employees are all really nice but i wouldn’t use this place again not necessarily because my daughters cake was missing the most important piece but because of the steps the shop took to...
