Manager of Wichita location on 29th street was TERRIBLE. BUT you can't do better than the food here. The meat is not treated it is purposefully higher quality meat. The seats aren't comfortable so I can't give the atmosphere a great marking. I'm not sure why anyone would have seats that have no cushions at a restaurant but it's becoming more popular that's for sure. People really not caring about the comfort of customers. I did have interaction with the manager and he is awful NOT TO CARE for customers. He did NOT care if I was a customer or not. Did not even make good the fact I had a meal given me with tomato sauce on it and I'm allergic to tomatoes. I never said yes to tomato sauce but somehow ended up with tomato sauce so when I went to a meeting because we took our food I couldn't eat. The manager was not willing to give me a meal to replace the one I had already paid for. I find that to be really bad customer service. They really don't care if you're a customer or not. As a woman who used to be called a ceo, I don't believe in anyone ever thinking anything but that the customer is always right. That's how it was when I was raised and now it's oh well you know you're going to be lying if you don't bring in your receipt or if we don't remember you. It's absolutely crazy how Nazi this world has become. People bus start speaking out and they must start standing up for others who are asking for their right to have food that they've paid for. If a company has been given money for food and the food was not what they paid for and was not possible to be eaten then the company make good their end of the...
Read moreWife and i went to this Chipotle for lunch. The line was pretty short so we were able to order quick, which was nice. The food ordering area was reasonably clean and the staff were very friendly. They had what I would consider a reasonable amount of toppings to add to your food (lettuce, queso, salsa, etc) but they were missing a couple things i would have thought to be regular, like onions. Wasnt a big deal.
I wasnt fond of how expensive the queso is considering how much you get. $1.25 gets you some on your food and $2.00 gets you a tiny cup for chips. This plus drinks really made the price go up quick. In total our order was roughly $23. We got a chicken burrito, chicken tacos, chips and queso and two drinks.
I want to talk about the chips. Those chips were possibly the saltiest things ive ever tasted. My wife warned me of the salt issue before I tried, and even though I dusted off the visible salt crystals (see picture), it was disgustingly salty. The queso tasted bland when paired with the chips, they were so salty.
The dining room was also pretty dirty. Note we came during a fairly busy time, that still isnt an excuse to not clean tables or sweep.
Ive wanted to come to this location for a while considering we work near it, but i have to say we were...
Read moreYou can't talk to a person when they mess up your order. Phone calls tell you to go online and chat with a bot. I was offered to be able to pick up my food they didn't put in at the next visit (with free guac that I can't eat). Requested a human to message. They disconnected after not solving the issue. Texted another person who said the first refunded the missing part instead. I asked about a full refund since my order was incomplete and I was disconnected. The whole thing took 45 minutes and still wasn't fixed. California Tortilla would never do this.

They have gotten my order wrong twice in the past 3 times I've been there. Once was someone else's order with the same first name, this time they forgot 2 bags of chips. They also didn't pick up their phone despite multiple calls so I'm just out money for food I didn't get.
I go to this one rather than the closer Greenwich location because it has been better, but I may go to California...
