This review is for both the business and the barber. The business is a very clean, modern styled barber shop where they greet you with a smile as soon as you walk in. Very calming and pleasing atmosphere. As for my barber, Gerson. Hands down the best barber I've ever had he's honest with his consultations but will also do whatever you would like to do with your hair, eyebrows and facial hair. He's very patient and he takes genuine pride in his work, making sure every detail is perfect. I've gone to him for the last 5 or so years and is the only barber in Wichita I trust to cut my hair, whether it be a big chop or a trim and line up. It's a little on the pricier side of hair cuts but it's a small price to pay considering the beautiful work done at buckets, as well as the confidence you'll have walking out of there, no matter who your stylist is. I moved to the Wichita area about 5 years ago. The search for a barber was frustrating. I found Gerson on TikTok back in September of 2024. His videos showed great haircuts of all types. The next thing was, I wanted to be at a shop that was welcoming. Buckets Studios is just that. Then on a personal level, I feel like I have been able to make a nice bond with Gerson. He has helped me find the products that suite my hair and beard best. While receiving a fresh, crisp, and clean haircut, I feel like I am at home.

Following the great experiences on multiple sessions with Gerson, I decided to bring my seven year old son in. He had only went to kids salons. Gerson was great with him, and has helped me find the haircut my wife was wanting for our son.
