Cycle Gear — Local services in Wichita

I was riding the TAT and decided to take a tour Kansas en route. I wound up in Wichita and thought it would be a good time to get new tires. Called up Cycle Gear and they had the ones I wanted, lent me a stand to remove my wheels (which is cool because prefer to as much of my own work as possible), and set to work on them quickly. One of the tubes had a latent leak; I discovered it after I had dinner and went back to see if they could help me out. The leak was on the seam around the circumference of the tube and I doubt anyone would have caught it, including myself; I absolutely can't hold them responsible. The tire guy had left for the day, but they called in another who showed up quickly on his day off. He got me squared away and they wouldn't take my money for a new tube. They apologized profusely and I rebutted by thanking them profusely. This shop is full of friendly staff and they certainly take care of riders from out of town who aren't likely to be repeat customers at their location. This speaks volumes about the fine people of Kansas and specifically the great people at that store. Should I have the opportunity (I live near L.A.) I'll happily find a reason to do business with this store again...and will continue to do business with my local...

Cycle Gear Wichita has permanently earned my business. I shop here a LOT. Most of mine and the Mrs. riding gear was purchased here. From the Alpine Stars all weather gear, to the gloves, to my most recent purchase of another helmet and comms... (somehow mine got lost, don't ask how because I dont know lol)....

The crew here has in depth knowledge of the brands, styles, and specific gear for your riding needs. If its not in the store, say the word and its on the way. They have also worked diligently to get my kids in the gear they need to ensure their safety is taken care of while out riding. From installing comms on helmets to making sure they have good gloves, they know their stuff.

My family isn't the weekend warrior type. We will put 20k plus miles on the bikes a year. In fact, our last trip in, we were three bikes deep coming to the store. My son on his Harley, Me and the youngest on the Pursuit, and the Mrs. on her Scout. I say all to say we TRUST Cycle Gear, Wichita, for all of our riding needs.

Best place to go for any type of gear. Cycle gear is a very good store for any of your motorcycle needs. I had great customer service and they helped me a lot. They were able to explain many features on the products I asked about and also recommended products from their experience. A well stocked store with brand products and also with cheaper alternatives. I got good discounts and was able to try on the gear before I bought it. I can order products online and send them to the store, if it doesn't fit or if I don't like it they give me a refund and send the product back! Its a one stop shop for any kind of rider, the have gear and apparel for just about every type. I don't usually write a review, but I felt like I owed this to Cycle Gear in Wichita Ks after the awesome experience there! I would most definitely recommend to a friend! The store in Wichita Ks is now expanding and Cycle Gear now owns Revzilla! Now they are one of the biggest retailers when it comes to the gear you need to...
