Office Depot — Local services in Wichita

I was in Office Depot looking at shredders, and had just picked one out. An employee walked by and asked if she could help me. She graciously placed the large shredder on a dolly and escorted me to the cashier station. After I paid, she then took the shredder and carried it to my car! When I got home, I realized the shredder did not have a function I needed, so I called the store, and asked if they had one that had the needed feature. They did. I asked them to hold it back for me to pick up the next day, and they did, placing it behind the front counter for me. And it was on sale! I came back the next day to exchange the previous purchase for the new one, and a gentleman carried it to my car for me. Everyone could not have been nicer, or more professional! The girls in the print center are incredible! I have used several printing companies in the past and this experience was by far the best. We are preparing to be an exhibitor at a local trade show and we needed signage printed ASAP. They did a great job and were happy to help every step of the way. Everything turned out great and ahead of schedule. One thing that stood out to me the most was the awesome team work between the staff this the print center. Terrible customer service which is kind of surprising during these times. I saw where they are offering a free lamentation service for COVID-19 vaccination cards. I stopped by to inquire and was told they were only offering it for copies of the card, not the actual card. I said okay since they offer copying services but was then told I had to pay for the copy. This is just another way for them to monetize during these hard times. Bad form!
