If you value your freedom, do not go to this restaurant, because they will hold you hostage in the drive-thru if they get the chance. We showed up at just after 1pm on a Sunday and we were behind a guy in the drive thru for several minutes while he appeared to just be sitting there. Someone finally told him to go ahead and order and we could hear him say he wanted a refund. Should have been our first clue that something wasn't right.
We get to the window and wait several minutes before someone finally announces themselves and gives us the ok to order. We order, pull around and pay. Surprise, surprise...no issues with the taking of the money.
For the 10-15 minutes that we sit at the drive-thru window, we watched the two workers in the window eventually disappear for several minutes and a couple other workers walk by and alternately take food out to the tables inside and completely ignore us.
Finally, someone comes to the window and asks if our order was X. It was not. It was at this point that we request a refund. She says ok and a moment later, a bag of our food magically materializes at her side. She offers to give us the refund and our food. Win-win, right? Well yeah, except they need my card back. Mistake number two on my part. My card was behind the glass for another several minutes while she and another person figured out how to credit me...as if this was the first refund they'd ever processed.
Two stars for a couple reasons: 1) It WAS a free lunch, after all, and 2) The food ultimately came out correctly and tasted the way I expected it to. Otherwise, this is a one-star experience...
Read moreI have been here a couple of times and they had decent service a little slow at times but here is a incident that was weird. I pulled up to the drive thru, waited for a minute or two and then heard a very faint hello. I gave her my order and she seemed very slow at this. At first, I thought she was new but then mid-sentence of my order (which was just two $5 meals) says that she was going to give the mic to someone else. The new girl's words were slurred and spoke very slowly. She couldn't find the button to out in my float order so she told me to pick something else. I've ordered floats here before so I know they would have them. I was only halfway through the order and it already has been 10 minutes and I have patience but yikes. Also, I don't think she realized she didn't turn off her mic but she was talking to somebody else and saying a lot of mean things about me like how I don't know my order and that it's too difficult. It's two $5 meals. Not that hard. So I gave up and left. I tried calling the place but the same girl picked up. I think she was on something. The only reason why I'm giving it two stars is because i've had decent experiences here but I wouldn't...
Read moreOn 03/18/2025, around 12:10 pm, I clicked on the Google web listing's "Order Online" option, for the Maize Road location In Wichita, Kansas, which uses DoorDash, so my food would be ready when I got there. I often do this when picking up food from restaurants. When I arrived at the drive-thru at 12:27 pm, they said they hadn't received the order. I showed them the order on my phone's DoorDash app, and that I was at the correct location, and I also showed them my GPay receipt confirming the payment had been processed. Regardless, they say that they couldn't fill my order because they didn't get it, even though I had the proof. Unfortunately, I couldn't cancel the order on the app without being charged because DoorDash was showing the restaurant was active and my order had been received and made. I had to contact DoorDash and hassle with getting a refund. Doordash tried to contact the restaurant to troubleshoot, but they wouldn't answer the phone. I feel like the manager on duty should have honored my order, and the onus was on the restaurant to contact DoorDash to determine what the issue is. Instead, they were rude about it, and she basically...
