Spangles — Restaurant in Wichita

The Ice Cream Waffle Cone was tasty! It was free after the second trip back due to burned dry new advertised burger. It could be just this location but kind of doubt it since it is right next door to corporate.The last few times we have gone the quality of their burgers has been terrible & that has been few & far between. We kept thinking maybe we just had a few bad experiences. My husband payed full price for the burger & traded for another and the difference in price was not returned. Free ice cream cone paid for itself. They apparently need to go back to food handler class because you could taste another item in the food. I also accidentally called corporate which is next door and Gretchen said I needed to call the store. I guess corporate could care less about customers issues. If this was my chain and someone called me I would be all over it trying to help. Hoping I don't have food poisoning. I am probably going to Wesley to be checked I am so sick and happen to have a condition that i cannot physically vomit. Sure wish I could. Restaurant is freezing. Cooks apparently decided to turn on the AC in 30 degree weather becase they were hot. We said something about it and it took us pulling a comment card out of a dispenser for them to turn on the heater.

they also let homeless people come in, sit and buy nothing. Which makes the restaurant smell really bad .

My main issue was with a cook .not only did he look like he hadnt showered 3 months, i ordered a kids meal for my daughter, it was her birthday and they kept the ice cream until we were done so it wouldn't melt. When I came to get the ice cream I said " do you have the ice cream for the birthday girl? " He replied " no we don't do that kind of thing here" and walked back to his hovel in the kitchen .

We got the ice cream because the cashier had enough common sense to understand what was going on.

this place is gone terribly downhill, I would not recommend coming here after 5. For being located right next door to the corporate headquarters of Spangles, there's no excuse for this kind of stuff .

The food was good like always. The reason this store got 3 stars is for customer service. When we pulled up to the window there was no one behind me nor was there any customers in the store. So this lady took my money and asked me to please pull forward. I'm guessing it was to get their times down. Before I could put the car in drive a man comes to the window and says dont pull forward yet and hands us our ice cream and drinks to us. But what upset me was the lady I don't think she thought we could hear her goes real caddy like "sorry ma'am were not fast food." I have no idea what made her say that but it just really caught me off guard. Oh yea and they forgot to put bbq sause for chicken...
