Unfriendly Staff. When we got to the hotel, they told us there were bathrooms in the restaurant and we were going to order food anyway. so in order to get there we had to go through the dark parking lot and a nasty alley between the two hotels. When we got there, it was very busy which was understandable but when we tried to walk in the door was locked and we asked the lady several times why it was closed and she said “because breakfast was over…” we are particularly older people so after we got in the teenagers working gave us weird stares as they were eating for 30 mins during busy hour and not helping. after we used the bathroom, we realized they accepted ONLY CASH. There was no ATM, plus the milkshakes were over $8 dollars. The woman was rude and kept slamming the window. Outdoor seating was stained and nasty. Would highly reccomend going down to the Reges Cafe. They have breakfast large seating and they have an area to order lunch or food untill 5 or 8pm right off of the beach with stairs. Otherwise, don’t come...
Read moreWonderful experience(s)! I recently headed down to the shore for a 3-night stay after Labor Day weekend. I was surprised to learn that they were open daily starting at 07:30am, even in the low season. You have the option to eat indoors or outdoors by the sand dunes and ocean waves. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sun rise over the water while enjoying a wide variety of delicious comfort foods. The breakfast burrito is incredibly filling and I looked forward to the bowl of fresh fruit every morning while visiting. Tip: If you stay at an Oceanside property along Atlantic Avenue (or even a block or 2 up from the beach), you can walk the shoreline to/from breakfast back to your hotel/street - it’s a great way to start a morning at the shore and incredibly relaxing. Cash only however pricing is very fair with an ATM on-site (1.99$ fee, lowest I’ve seen at the shore). A walk-up window is available for to-go orders. Check it out, you won’t regret it! Looking forward to returning in...
Read moreThe morning crew, the woman, was pleasant and the food was well priced and good. The lunch crew, one gentleman, in paricular, was rude and obnoxious. At first he told me all he had left was hot dogs after I asked for a wrap. I told him the signs were up for various meals. He began ripping them down and slammed the window shut after he told me they were closed. I left and returned to the pool. The woman next to us asked what happened. I told her what happened and she said his behavior was the same to her the day before. I looked back over and there was a couple there eating hot dogs. I hope he was the owner because I will NEVER eat there again. I guess the season is over and he's had enough. It's okay, I guess he did not need my $40 per day for breakfast and lunch. It was very convenient as my wife and I were in the attached hotel. Sad that some people act like that, if he doesn't like it...sell it to someone who respects...
