My family loves Turtle Gut! Ever since they came to the neighborhood they have added so much to the area- great drinks, tasty food options, and a wonderful space to get away for a minute and enjoy a fun, chic/hip atmosphere. If my toddler was reviewing she’d add that she loves the bubble machine when it’s going. 😂 Us adults are also like matcha, mochas, coffees, avocado toast and their taste in music! We are vegan/plant-based and love the plant-based milk options as well as the avocado toast)
It’s become a regular stop we make whenever we are down the shore. Over the years we’ve gotten to know the owners who are wonderful people and putting a lot of hard work, creativity, and amazing things into their business. Plus, one of them is a twin! (As am I!)
Oh, did I mention they are right on sunset lake? A treat!! We can grab our drinks/food and enjoy watching the birds, boats, and beautiful landscape of the bay. You don’t get many cafe-side views like this on the island. (Especially from a business that has such high quality offerings!)

I also asked for mayo, but they don't have it. They only have their own aioli. How do you not have mayo? So I asked for no aioli so I can take the sandwich home and put mayo on it. I get it home and it has aioli on it. The sandwich was so small that I was still hungry. It was like a light snack that didn't justify the price. The only good from it was the thick bacon was good and the tomato and lettuce were fresh. But unfortunately we will not...
