I am not only a patron of Harbor Grill, I am also employed as a server and I guess what I enjoy most is the food. The cook makes sure his workers have full bellies before they start their day and or a full belly before they leave. Needless to say, I have had the opportunity in tasting quite a few things on the menu. So far, my breakfast favorite is the cooks Eggs Benedict and the Golden French Toast. I haven't had the chance to try the Harbor Stuff but those who have ordered it say it's delicious and the fruit sauce served with it is "out of this world"!! I can say the home fries served with breakfast are tastier than any other home fries I've had, which includes "my own" and in my book it's hard for anyone to prepare something better than myself, but Harbor Grills Home fries take presidency over my own....lol From the lunch menu I've had the chicken cheese steak and regular cheese steak and they are made with 100% beef and 100% chicken with a hint of the cooks special seasoning which brings a whole new lite to "chicken cheese steak". As far as the rest if the lunch menu goes I haven't heard one complaint about the food. Some folks have had an issue with the prices but people need to understand that the cost of certain things have gone up and keep going up and if the cook wants to keep it on the menu he has to raise the price as the price is raised on him. Its not something he's proud to do because he wants everyone to be happy just as he is happy and periodically escapes the kitchen to see how people are enjoying their meal. Please don't let disgruntled employees reviews shy you away from stopping in to have a bite to eat at the "HARBOR GRILL" located on the lobby floor of the Bal Harbour Hotel on Stanton Rd in Wildwood Crest. I guarantee you'll walk away with a satisfactory full belly from a delicious meal and a smile from the customer service you'll receive from the servers and hosts. Hopefully, your overall experience will also...
Read moreWe went here for breakfast and were very satisfied. Server was polite and attentive. The food came out promptly and was delicious. Coffee was also very good.
Later the same day, we decided to go back for lunch due to the convenient location. It was a little late (around 2 PM) and we were the only people in the restaurant. This time, the service left a lot to be desired. Our server looked to be around 10 years old, and while she was very nice, she seemed to be a little nervous/unsure of what she was doing. I don’t blame her for this, as she’s only a kid and has probably not been doing this for long. Meanwhile, there was a teenage boy sitting on his phone doing nothing at the other end of the restaurant. Not sure why he couldn’t come to help her out. Food was a little slow to come out, but was hot and fresh when it arrived. My harbor chicken sandwich was a little on the greasy side, but tasted great nonetheless. Overall, I think that if the issues with the staff can be fixed, this place could be really great given it’s size and location. I may stop in again if I’m ever in this area of Wildwood...
Read moreWalked into The Harbor Grill to check it out since it was on the beach and close by. It smelled great so we decided to have some breakfast. Basic breakfast items nothing fancy. Took a bit to get a menu after we were seated. Took even longer to take our order and then to get our food. Wasn’t very busy and ordered scrambled eggs with bacon and pancakes-not hard. Food was fine, just took forever. Didn’t like the turkey bacon which is what they served. Because it took so long, rated poorly. Looked family run as kids were doing the serving. The oldest just stood around and when we needed butter he looked at us like we had two heads and just yelled back into the kitchen. The boardwalk has great places that are fast and delicious, much better than Harbor Grill. I don’t recommend this place. Basic menu for lunch as well burgers and hot dogs. “Sometimes open for dinner “ was what we were told. ...
