Complete disregard for safety. We informed them of our inexperience paddle boarding yet they let us on with a windy forecast. Prior to going out we were assured they would keep an eye on us but they were no where to be seen. My daughter drifted so far out. I finally made it back to their dock and urged them to go out and get my daughter. They were mostly concerned with getting their boards and paddles of people who bailed due to the high winds. Thankfully my daughter was smart enough to paddle to a nearby dock and walk back to the shack. I expressed the safety concerns to the owners and told them they should check on people more often. He replied arrogantly that he was watching us the whole time but couldn’t answer why he didn't know where my daughter was. I wouldn’t want any parent to ever experience this. We recently visited Lakeview Docks and were extremely disappointed with their lack of attention to safety. The staff didn't provide any proper safety briefing before we went out on the water despite repeatedly notifying them about our beginner skills. The wind and the current were so strong that all 8 of us including children drifted far away from the dock and could not manage to paddle back which felt very unsafe. After some time, they came with a small boat to get us but failed to get one person who was a teenager and had to swim up to a private home’s dock and walk back to safety.

Overall, it was a very concerning experience, and I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe and enjoyable paddleboarding outing. Safety should be a top priority, and unfortunately, that was not...

Went here with 2 friends last week and had an amazing time! Beautiful area for kayaking. The owners were helpful and told us everything we needed to know. Once we were finished and about to leave, I tried starting my car and my battery was dead (which still couldn't ruin the awesome mood I was in from 2 peaceful hours on the water). The owner stopped what he was doing (they were about to close) and gave me a jump and we were on our way in minutes! Small gestures go a long way because I will not forget that. I'm going again tomorrow, with my step-daughter this time because I want to share this experience with her.
