Centennial Park — Attraction in Middle Township

I was at the port royal hotel that is right next to this park. They are both right on the beach in Wildwood Crest New Jersey. A very beautiful part of wildwood. I used to work at the Port Royal hotel which is my opinion the best hotel in Wildwood. It's not a motel it's a hotel and am not saying this because I worked there for a few years it's really a beautiful and very very clean. With a really clean and a beautiful view of the ocean and beach ohh yeah it's a restaurant on the back of the hotel. As for the park it's very clean and well taken care of. It's the perfect place for a vacation. A nice little walk down to the Wildwood boardwalk. I have been going to Wildwood New Jersey since I was born in north Philadelphia. I moved here to care for mom and dad after they passed away. I stayed here but that's the perfect place for a family vacation and it's away from all the noise and things that happens in a resort area. I hope I was able to help and it is hard to get rooms at the hotel so you will need to call in the winter and it's a lot of money. But believe me you are going to want to come back. Centennial Park, off the Wildwood Crest bike path at Ocean and Fern. Bring your beach chair/blanket. Every Wednesday and Saturday evenings during the summer, starts at 7:00pm. Memorial Day was the kick off concert. It's really a nice time. So put your dancing shoes on and enjoy! Area is well maintained, very nice spacious park. Check the schedule online as it's always a different band. Porta potties on sight, but there are bathrooms at Rambler on the bike path which is a few blocks away. Had a great time at Centennial Park during the last summer weekend of the year. The summer was closed out with The Chatterband doing excellent covers of hits across the decades.

This is a great outdoor venue for their music and the summer concert series in general. Plenty of room for everyone (bring chairs), lots of grass, walkways, ambient lighting from street lamps and nearby hotels, room for kids to run around and play.
