The McDonald's on Northampton and Wilkes Barre across from Rite Aid in Wilkes Barre get a low rating. This was based on several personal experiences where they seem to never be prepared for the lunch or dinner rush. This is directly contributed by the management team. Not knowing the times the rushes happen in the buisness of fast food can lead to numerous customer complaints and poor services. Like all McDonald's and many fast food chains they hire younger staff with little to no experience. A staple in the fast food market. However, many are prepared and deliver food fast as is their market as a McDonald's and it should be. But this particualr location should make some changes early on to save the location from a poor reputation. Poor reputations in fast food won't damage the buisness long term and they will always make a decent profit and survive and I don't exoect they will be going anywhere anytime soon knowing personally what is needed to open a McDonald's franchise (millions in overall personal assets). But it will end up costing hundreds of thousands annually if the owner does not make the necessary management staffing changes either with more experience or trained more extensively on fast food delivery ie: rush times and staples of fast food customer service...
Read moreI was laying in my room alone one night watching TV, my mind racing. In my heart I felt like something was missing but I wasn’t sure what it was. Then suddenly a commercial for McDonalds comes on and instantly I knew what would fill the void… a filet-o-fish sandwich. I ordered it on DoorDash and patiently awaited its arrival. The anxiety was extremely palpable as I tapped my foot and twiddled my thumbs in anticipation. Once my food was delivered I felt a sense of calmness rush through my body. When I pulled the box out of the bag I noticed it was a 6 piece McNugget box. My initial thought was “wow lucky me! They gave me extra food!” Thinking it was my good karma for all the amazing things I’ve done in life. But when I opened the box my heart sank down to the floor. There weren’t McNuggets in the box… it was just a fish patty. A plain fish patty. The horror of the situation sent shivers down my spine. I’ve never felt so disrespected and dejected in my whole entire life. Shame on you Mr. McDonald and your whole organization. The one thing that was meant to fill my hollow heart has instead shattered it into pieces. I will forever have trust issues because of...
Read moreNever come at night, the overnight workers were clearly raised by cavemen. They'll legit throw your food and barely even close the container or your drinks. They won't respond to you, will slam the window on your face before you're even done talking, and completely ignore "Hello"s and "Thank You"s. When the window lady saw we weren't there for a monile order she said "okaaay? 🙄" Like it was a crime to use the drive through? She tried to hand the food so fast she nearly dropped it, and the tote wasnt even closed, crazy shit. Plus there are random ppl loitering outside waving down cars at the drive thru??? Picture of how they just threw the cookies in and they were all kinds of messed up :// there was like ONE intact cookie If you're dining in, the daytime employees are nice, but there's usually water leaking from the light fixtures, and a lot of people clearly on something wobbling around and begging customers for stuff, very uncomfortable to deal if when you don't know if they...
