Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Wilkesboro

I Called in an order on our way to Jersey mikes (about five minutes out) and was told our order would take thirty minutes. When we got there, their was one person in the store so we went in to see why the order was taking thirty minutes. I explained we called in the order five minutes ago and we would just order inside since nobody was in there and I was told it would take thirty minutes on the phone. There was three orders on the grill and the girl said there is still going to be a wait. I said that's ok. They had our order ready in ten minutes. When we got home the sub was not suppose to have peppers and onions on it and it did. What really upsets me was I tried calling on the way, three different times and no answer. I was told it would take thirty minutes but when I walked in the door one guy was working on the grill while the other two girls were talking and distracting him in the back instead of helping him. We usually have good service here but...

This is the review I really did not want to leave. Stopped by after taking two of the grandkids to mtn city. Placed order, told the girl taking the order that this order better be right, if not it would be strike 3 and I probably would not be back. Ordered a cheese steak sub for my wife, peppers only cooked with the meat, provolone cheese,then for the rest of the sub, lettuce, mayo and jalapeno peppers. No ONION, really emphasized that part, since wife is deathly allergic to fried onions. My sub, cheese steak with peppers and jalapenos , rest of sub, lettuce, tomato, mayo and jalapenos. No ONION. Paid for order, got order, went home. Both subs had onions, wife smelled onions on her sub, then seen them cooked with the meat and peppers, she also had tomato on her sub, didn't order tomatoes, plus she did not have any jalapenos on her sub. We really like Mike's, fast polite staff, Price I think is fair. The most important thing is the sub is hot, not just warmed up. Fresh meats and veggies. We feel if you don't like Mike's subs you don't like subs. This was the worst sub ever. It 45 minutes to get. Then get the wrong things on it. If it would not take 20 minute drive back, I would have. Instead through it away and go to Subway. What a shame, zi really though they would be better then that. Not even sure if I would ever go back. Might give them another chance. Just don't think so.
