Eat and run catering did an outstanding job with our wedding on October 5th! From the food, to the flowers, to Janet being our right hand lady for when things got a little hectic, the whole day was outstanding! Janet made my mother a wrist corsage right on the spot without any hesitation when we realized we were one short and she calmed my nerves as the bride before I walked down the aisle with my dad :) we got the steak, stuffed shells, stuffed chicken as our main courses for the buffet, and they were TO DIE FOR! All of their food, the charcuterie table, the buffet including the sides, the desserts, the Mexican vanilla cake was absolutely delicious. Our flowers were absolutely stunning, and Janet hit the nail on the head with matching my inspo pictures and ideas for the flowers! our whole group of vendors did amazing with working together to make the day go smooth. One of the kind workers with eat and run saw that I was struggling with holding my dress, my drink and my bouquet during cocktail hour and offered a hand to place my bouquet up at the sweetheart table for me so I could enjoy myself and not waste any time away from our guests! From day one of booking their service Janet was always very responsive and made me feel like the whole world revolved around our wedding haha, she met with us a month out to go over things and graciously covered our meal for us that day. I feel like that’s where this company goes above and beyond and wants to make sure your big day is amazing. there’s some companies out there that are only in it for the money end but that is the complete opposite of our experience with eat and run catering! They care about your wedding day just as much as you do🩷 and I will continue to recommend them for everyone’s...
Read moreDisappointed with this company for their wedding catering. Janet sounded fantastic the first time we spoke and I was even more excited after we first met. She told me she'd basically become my closest vendor over the next several months and spoke of details that she helps with the day of that I never even thought about. We paid in advance to not have to worry about it later. Fast forward to 2 weeks prior to the wedding, I could count on one hand how often I heard from her up to that point. Also, obviously our guest count was less due to covid. Janet started switching up her prices from what originally told me to, stating prices have gone up and certain plates take more work. All of which should have been mentioned months ago during our first talk instead of there being a flate price for two dishes and a different price for three. We also had to reach out several times before we finally got a straight answer from her and an updated invoice. It was almost as if she was bothered at the fact that we paid early and now we think we deserve some of that back. Come the actual wedding day and Janet doesn't even show up. She sent her crew instead. The food was 50/50, either cooked very well or dry based on personal plates and guest opinions. We added on a candy bar and it was literally just plates of candy laid out, no type of nice display or anything. The whole experience came off extremely unprofessional and shady. Every other vendor we had went above and beyond to communicate and have a plan, but there was virtually nothing with Janet. Just a truly...
Read moreI booked my daughter's bridal shower at Eat and Run Catering in Williamsport, PA after stumbling upon this quaint little restaurant settled along the Susquehanna River in Williamsport, PA. The food (both quality AND quantity) was amazing! Our guests enjoyed croissant finger sandwiches (chicken salad, ham and cheese, and turkey and cheese), fresh fruit platter, fresh veggies and dip, soft pretzel nuggets with an abundance of hot beer cheese, a charcuterie board loaded with fresh meats and cheeses and nuts (surrounded by a boarder of chocolate caramels!), homemade pasta salad, and a variety of delicious cupcakes! Help yourself fountain soda was also available. Because they have a liquor license, we were able to also indulge our guests with a sangria punch! We were given free rein to decorate as much as we liked, and we were not under any time restraints to leave, as we had the entire establishment to ourselves. Had the weather permitted, we could have also allowed our guests to go out on the patio as well. I highly recommend Eat and Run catering for your next event! Had we known in advance that they cater weddings, we would have seriously considered having them do my daughter's wedding as well (we did book them for the bar services, the desserts (and wedding cake), and the floral arrangements for the wedding, as these services were not already secured through another company). You couldn't ask for a better price for the services received. Thank you Janet Jackson (owner) for your attention to detail and precision and prompt...
