Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Willoughby

Where do I start. Those who've been following my reviews for years know I give you the real, the good, the bad, the ugly, true facts based on MY experience with a business....never something I've heard. So here we go.... First. As we waited in the lot we saw an employee (assumingly on break) in their car. As we got out to go inside and get our order said employee was also returning to work. The employee was outside in their work apron. I did not see said employee change aprons or wash hands and or put on gloves. The employee went behind the counter and proceeded to start handling cheese with bare hands, in the same apron that was worn outside. I was taught when I worked fast food you do not leave the area in your apron due to cross contamination. Thankfully our pizza was already ready when we got there but it makes me wonder about their sanitation procedures and we will not be back to that location.

Secondly. Our pizza was not cut! Not one slice was cut! We were literally given a whole pizza and had to cut it ourselves at home.

Third. The bottom of our pizza was lightweight burnt (didn't get the picture).

Fourth. Customer service wasn't that great. Not sure if folks were mad they had to work game day or what but we didn't get the nicest of greetings.

Welp....that's all I'm gonna say. Make your own decisions when it comes to where you eat. Not saying do or don't go here. This was our first time and it was a real head scratching, eye brow...

This place is possibly the worst papa johns I've encountered! Called in to order (took 15 minutes) and they told me 20 minutes. I get there the employees was arguing,1 was almost passed out on the counter and they mixed up our order with someone else's that went out for delivery. So we wait ANOTHER 15 minutes for our order to be made right. I go in and pay on my CC and before I walk out I figured what the hell I better check the food. Sure enough,half the pizza didn't have cheese even covering it and the other pepperoni pizza had literally 4 pieces of pepperoni on a large. So I just told the zombie guy who could barely stand up that I just want a refund,to keep this garbage. He tells me they don't give refunds,they can make my food again. My reaction and response didn't go well....at all....do yourself a favor and stay away,don't waste your...

Manager Alexis is the rudest customer service associate I have ever encountered. I ordered an online pizza with an estimated delivery time of 33 minutes. It's been an hour so I called to cancel. She was completely insulting, rude, and irritated that I Requested to cancel and refund my order. I expressed to her I have no missed calls and that i have been standing outside for 30 minutes and that my "tracking order" has been read as completed for over 10 minutes. She said she did not know what a confirmation order was and was not able to provide me with any kind of proof of refund and that she thinks it may be 5 days before I see the refund. When I asked for the manager she expressed she as the manager and said yeah okay bye and hung up. Completely disgusting customer service and due to this one employee I will no longer order for...
