Here is my worst experience from Verizon Victra on Willoughby Ohio. I saw the online offer as IPhone 14 Plus on Verizon and I thought it is true and went on to proceed and I have issues while porting in the number and went in store to do it while I checked and confirmed that the store also offered iPhone 14 Plus at 0 dollars when I take unlimited plus plan with new line added and went and took 6 lines. I again confirmed while billing process to confirm the offer and store rep checked and said he can’t find may be service is down and confirmed me that I would see 0 dollar in my actual bill and I went home and later checked estimated bill of 5 dollar per phone per line and went back to instore to check on this and I was told it was only estimate and I would see my actual offer on the bill and I started following up on this issue with both customer service and instore and later I came to know that instore offer is actually 5 dollars a month and I was wrongly told about 0 dollar and they said they will work on to it fixed and after numerous times of follow up and 1 year later finally, currently instore manager reached out to me saying they followed with old manager saying the 5 dollar was disclosed to me which I have never been aware of or committed to it but per as their internal records they never worked on this issue which turns out to be also an indirect store to Verizon. I wish Verizon take serious action on these who would lie and lure the customers in manipulating the offers and forcing customer to pay for it. I hope customer service from Verizon side will help get my offer I...
Read moreI feel like I got bait and switched at the store. I was convinced by the clerk to upgrade my plan because I would be getting a specific deal on my new phone. After I paid off my old phone, spent two hours at the store loading my new phone - I was told right at the end that the deal I was promised was actually over the day previous and that I would be now having to pay over $300 more. I guess they filed a dispute with Verizon to try to get me the original deal I was promised and I have still yet to hear back two weeks later, even though I was told it would only take a few days. It’s just a very frustrating experience because I trusted the clerk at the store to give me the right information so that I can make an informed decision and I feel misled. People make mistakes and I understand that (the clerk was very nice, and he clearly felt bad) that being said, Verizon should stand behind their people and make them right or offer some type of resolution. I will update this review if they correct this mistake.
I guess my advice to all would be to get everything in writing and don’t necessarily trust what people are saying.
Update: its been about a month and I NEVER heard back despite going into store 2X and being told its the request is in “process” dont trust Verizon they will say whatever they need to in order to make the sale. They appear nice but one push comes to shove - they only have apologies no real monetary resolutions…. Guess I am out $300. I highly recommend going online to make your purchases at least everything will be in writing and no one can lie...
Read moreI wish I could say I had a pleasant time here, but instead I got a nearly $500 bill and it took them 4 hours to figure out how to port our numbers over from straight talk. All I had when I walked in there was Verizon forward and they screwed that up too. It’s been 3 months and still no credit and when I finally spoke to someone about it they told me it’s not the $60 off my bill that I was originally told, only $25.
The manager promised to take off the activation fees, but that didn’t happen until we nagged them into doing it. I think my roommate went in there 3 times at least to ask them to to take them off. There was a 3rd phone line and there’s only 2 of us and they wanted us to pay for it. The manager told my roommate she was taking $180 of the bill since he brought his own phone but neglected to say it was $5 a month for the next 36 months.
My experience with Verizon is, they’re probably going to lie to you or look at you like a deer in headlights. I think spectrum had better customer service.
*edited for clarity, grammar, or a word. No I will not be verifying my account, there no point. It’s been 4 months and I still don’t have my lifeline credit....
