Everything was okay. Ordered food online and thought I got it for delivery. Even gave a tip. Turns out it was for pick up bc the third party website is a little weird. All good, I can go pick it up.
I get there and saw a warmer and assumed mt order would be in there, but it was just on the counter, just sitting out. It took me about 15-20 minutes to get there after my pickup time due to thinking it was delivery. This resulted in all of my food being cold, even though there was a warmer for to go orders right next to my order on the counter.
Got home and opened my order. I got the garlic bread, provolone wedges, and a supreme pizza. $7 for 2 thin pieces of garlic bread seems a little steep. The garlic bread was smashed completely flat by a large side of marinara. I also thought this was a local spot so the provolone wedges might be made in house, but they're definitely fried from a frozen bag. $8 for 4 of them seems like a lot for that quality.
Lastly, i got to the pizza and was really excited to try the zig zag crust but... it was just a normal crust. Not sure if it's supposed to look any different or taste any different, but it was just a regular, basic crust, with no additional flavor or shape or anything. The middle of the dough was not cooked all the way through until the outer maybe 2 inches. The flavor of everything was fine. Nothing too exciting or seasoned. Wish the crust had some kind of flavor besides bread. Not really sure that I'd pay another $55 for a pizza, 4 provolone wedges, and 2 pieces of garlic bread all...
Read moreUPDATE I was contacted by the manager, Chris who was quick to apologize for the low quality food I received. He also offered a credit for the same as the original amount I paid for. Sunday I ordered 2 calzones, a pizza, and an order of onion rings. The barbecue chicken pizza was absolutely amazing and so were the onion rings. However the two calzones still had issues. They weren't cooked so long this time which made the dough better. They still had way too many onions, seemed like a giant handful was thrown in there in a clump as they were only on one side and there was also a LOT of pineapple. The pepperoni was a lot better and there was actually some cheese in it this time. Employees are supposed to open the box and show you your food and that did not happen. Not a perfect experience but much better than the first time I ordered. Hopefully they will get all the kinks worked out the longer they are open. Ordered pick up.. 3 calzones & 3 orders of fries. Got Pepperoni, onion and pineapple for two of them and one had a stack of Pepperoni on one side and that's it and all onion in one half with all pineapple on the other.. it was mostly bread and was missing the Ricotta cheese! The other 2 were just about the same bad quality. Will not go back to this location. The richmond heights zeppe's is much better! The staff was also getting yelled at/ talked to the entire time I was there.. I...
Read moreJust got a half sheet sausage pepperoni parmesean pizza delivered 20 minutes ago. Normally I dont write reviews but this pizza was horrendous. It was cooked fine but had such a bland taste. They barely put any sauce on the pizza even though I asked for extra sauce if possible. The sauce tastes like something you would put on pasta and should not be put on a pizza ( almost had a Ragu flavor). The cheese wasn't bad but the pepperoni wasn't cooked all the way so it was floppy and not crispy on the edges. It was almost like they buy it pre cut and throw it on with little care to the quality. The sausage wasn't terrible even thought they were extremely stingy and only put 1 piece per square which is pretty bad. The crust was horribly bland and tasted like crunchy white bread. I will not be ordering again. We were contemplating between Master Pizza and going to pick up Congins because they never do us wrong with the quality of their food. This was sadly subpar and pathetic.
Love how they leave the generic corporate...
