We had been meaning to stop in for a while and we finally got the chance. Angelo's Luncheonette has been in existence for 55 years. It is small and has an only school feel. We liked the interior a lot. You can tell they have a lot of regulars which is always a good sign. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. The food was good and inexpensive. We had breakfast but they had quite a few lunch options as well. Note: They are not open on weekends. Also, this is a cash only establishment. We enjoyed our time there. We will be back.

Tired of going into a chain or franchise and sitting down in the carbon copy of the same restaurant from a town over? Make your way to Angelo’s Luncheonette for a refreshing and novel dining experience. The decor is quaint, the staff are kind and smiling, and the food is made with care and attention. America needs more establishments like Angelo’s. They remind me how a magnificent dining experience should feel. Keep at it guys! You’ve got a fan.

Quaint little neighborhood restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. Don't expect a modern facility. This restaurant will take you back in time where the server and cooks are all in the open and very friendly and service minded. Sit at the bar and chat away like you'd imagine it was done 40+ years ago. Food is cooked with love and it was such a cool experience. Try it out at least once to experience something different.

I had high hopes :( I stopped in the other day as I like little places like this and unfortunately was turned off. Don't get me wrong, it's clean, and everyone is friendly except for the pricing and serving size. I ordered a spin on a Monte Cristo, which was a sandwich made out of French toast and ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese. Well when the food was brought to me I was shocked for $11.75 I got 2 pieces of wonder bread French toast ,a single slice of deli turkey, single slice of deli ham and a piece of Swiss cheese. BTW, the sandwich is Ala cart, so I added $3.95 for a side of breakfast potatoes. Both items came on a coffee cup saucer size plate. Needless to say, when I got my plate, I thought it truly was a joke, but to not be rude, I ate the food and left. Ala cart and pricing is just out of line for what...

Sooooo this is a weird review because I didn't actually eat there however, I did meet some buddies there that did. I write this review as a testament to the local-ness and family type atmosphere this is. My buddies enjoyed their diner like breakfast, eggs and toast and bacon. The owner and staff make this place worth reviewing, even though I didn't eat there.

The owner has been the same owner for the past ~50+ years and is truly a pillar of his community. It's the type of place you read about where this diner has been the hub of the community forever and everyone in the diner has been going for years and welcomes you in like family. I didn't even eat and I enjoyed this place to...

Cannot say enough positive things about our experience at Angelos. We're on a road trip around the US and we try the iconic food of each state as we travel around. Scrapple was the food to try in Delaware and we are so grateful that Angelo's Luncheonette was the recommendation that popped up for us. Our kids have claimed it as their favorite food stop in the US. The service was unparalleled. Seriously the best staff that made our morning. Even the other customers were some of the friendliest and kindest people we've met in our travels. As we drove away they were waving through the window. It felt like a wonderful morning with family. Thanks so much Angelo's...
