The food here is great, and the location right on the waterfront is a nice bonus. This was our go-to bagel shop for me and my family until we had a negative experience with a young girl working the register. I ordered a bagel with avocado slices over the phone, but when I picked it up, it was a bagel with guacamole instead. I politely asked if they offered just avocado slices, and she laughed before telling me no. I then asked for either a refund or for a new bagel to be made. She agreed to remake it but then tried to charged me for the new bagel. I explained that I shouldn’t have to pay, as I specifically asked for avocado slices and they gave me guacamole instead. She still insisted I pay, which felt rude and unprofessional. She was laughing and rolling her eyes throughout the interaction. Nice little bagel shop serving up all the favorite bagel sandwiches (sausage, egg, bacon, lox, turkey, and several cheese options and spreads). Avocado toast l(that another customer got) looked amazing but I opted for my all-time favorite (toasted sesame bagel with sausage and provolone). It slayed! Just what I needed to start my day. They offered basic drip coffee and an assortment of bottled soft drinks and juices. Their focus is definitely on the bagels which had a nice outer crust and a soft, fluffy inside. It’s a small location and I don’t believe they made the bagels on site (but who cares). Friendly staff who were down for exchanging pleasantries and making small talk. Placed our order and sat down to wait for the food. Girl was vacuuming while the other girl was cooking and we could see the dust getting kicked up in the sunlight. Instead of setting our food down on the table she threw the bag down and it almost fell off the table. Bagels were barely wrapped up and food was flying out of the wrapping. Then when we got to eating the sandwiches they had gotten our order wrong. So when we asked them to remake them they gave us lots of attitude. Asked us in a very condescending way if we were sure our orders were wrong. Read back the orders correctly with so much attitude. Finally got the correct food and it was good then.
