THIS BURGER KING LOCATION DOES NOT VALUE POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS AND DOES NOT CARE IF YOU CHOOSE TO SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY ON THEIR PRODUCTS!!! I was in the mood for a strawberry milkshake and Whopper on this particular Thursday evening. I got off work early and went by my house before heading out to the # 2150 Burger King location on South 3rd Street, two blocks from my house. I rushed because I know the dining room closes at 10 p.m. When I pulled up it was 9:45 p.m. I went to the front door and it was locked. There were employees working the drive-thru area and I waited until one came to the front counter. I raised my hands to inquire "what's up" and he pointed to the side door. I walked to the side door, pulled and it was locked as well. I came back to the front of the store and stood there as several employees looked at me. I finally walked around the building in frustration to the drive-thru window. There was a sign posted that said no walk-ups but I knocked on the glass just to ask why the dining room was closed early. Several employees looked at me and then proceeded to laugh. I heard them comment on the customer who was trying to get into the restaurant and was now knocking on the drive-thru window. As I walked around to the front of the store another customer in a car made the comment that the dining room was closed. When I informed her that they had closed earlier than their posted sign, she politely offered to back up and place my order in her car at the drive-thru window which she did. I continued to get looks from the employees in the drive-thru area as I stood at the front of the store waiting for this wonderful woman to complete my order. She paid for it with my debit card and then pull up for me to get the food from her. I thanked her for her help and came home. I've already contacted Burger King by their 800 customer service line and explained what happened. I deleted the favorable review that I place for this location two weeks ago to the current statement you're reading. I will be completing the Burger King survey that's on the back of the receipt. I also plan on posting this experience on social media and letting everyone in the restaurant community in downtown Wilmington be aware of the poor customer service that you can expect at this location. If you feel like being laughed at for wanting to spend your hard-earned money for a company's product, feel free to visit this location at any time. I just hope they're still open if the sign says...
Read moreI was really craving a Whopper with cheese today as I missed Dnner last night and got too busy today for lunch. I was disappointed that it just not taste that great today. I am really not much of a Hamburger eater so maybe I am too much of a critic when it comes to Hamburgers. I still cannot eat a Checkers Hamburger because the quality is not that good to me but Burger King is usually pretty good because of the flame broiled taste. I did wait about an hour before I ate it as I brought it home. But I have waited that long before. The meat just tasted a little old and it tasted a little to rich like it had too much mayo and ketsup on it. I noticed the pickles were really sweet also, just too sweet for me. I only ate a quarter of it and threw the rest away. This was the Burger King on 3rd and Dawson. They are really always busy so I don't really see how the meat might have sat out before it was served. I think it was too much mayo and the sweetness of the condiments with the overly sweet pickles just made it way too sweet for a Burger. I've never had such overpowering pickles that was the first bad taste i noticed. Other than that the Cheese sticks were fine I like the Zesty Marina Suace, and the Onion Rings were good too. And the Coke tasted like Coke. It was almost 12 bucks just for me for Dinner. The last time I ordered Burger King for Delivery it sas the same Burger King and that Burger just wasn't up to standards either. Burger King is not Cheap either. Next time I get the Burger King craving I'll try a different location...
Read moreThis 3rd street Burger King in Wilmington is a travesty. First of all no one greeted me. Then someone finally came to the front register. The manager. I speak clearly and enunciated my words well. I asked for a Philly Melt. The guys in line before me said that they had been waiting for 20 minutes. I gasped. Thy said, Wait it gets better"! They told me to look at the guy making the sandwiches. I'm the Ultimate observer especially when it comes to my food! This dude had one glove on. The told me he had been touching EVERYTHING!!!! I watched him touch raw meat and cooked meat without changing gloves. The guys in line told me how he flipped the wrong part of the bun causing the sandwich to fall apart and wrapped it anyway😳😳😳🙅♂️! And IT WAS MY SANDWICH😳😳😳.It was at that point that I asked an employee that was clocking out how long my refund would take to go back on my card. Why ask why. I'm sorry to say that she looked like she didn't know what she was talking about and it showed. She said it could take two weeks😳🤣. I asked the manager for a refund and the money went immediately back to my card. Everyone that worked there that day needs to be retrained or fired. I wouldn't buy food there if it was the only restaurant open and I had no food in the house!!! Food safety and customer service...
