Food is a ok and fresh, but expensive. The veggies are fresh. I can’t even get tomatoes like this in a grocery store, super red. Healthy on that front if you’re into that. Got the spicy chicken shawarma bowl. Not spicy at all. Even asked for extra spice and nothing. Guess I’ll add hot sauce. Disappointing for being affiliated with el Diablo. 17 dollars for mid ground up meat or whatever the process is, was disappointing plus amount was low. Food trucks in town is the comparison I make, and they are cheaper. It’s certainly a solid bowl, but at that price point it’s tough. Again nailed the veggie side (which I’m sure isn’t cheap) so if you’re into veggie heavy and no spice then rock out!
Also Ordered two burgers, kids enjoyed!
We also ordered desert. Which you get from the fridge if that’s what you’re into, wife wasn’t.
Service wise I had questions and I kept getting referred to the screen. Week day dinner rush I would assume more senior people around. People are new, so pass, but not a good start to the experience for a new place for someone who has questions about the menu. Specific to go orders in my opinion should have forks or spoons in the bag ready to go. Maybe that’s not normal now but that was weird to me especially in my truck trying to eat with nothing to eat the food with. Maybe that’s on me? Idk. Again 50+ for 1 adult and 2 kids.
In summation of this rambling, think like the nyc gyro truck with out the spice but with waaaaay better veggies and freshness. I will stick to the burgers next time. cya guys on my next health kick maybe. Otherwise too lite for 17. 50 plus in total on my bill for to go food for 1 adult...
Read moreThis is not your average burger joint! I've been to many places from upscale to "fast food" and everything in between in my life and time, and this newly-minted Trolley Square wonder is the cream of the crop.
Let's get to the meat: 1.) Excellent burger - ordered the All-American double ($14) "as-is" (toppings are equivalent to a whole salad with dressing) and was large enough for two 2.) Excellent fries - best I've tasted and I'm a homemade oven-roasted potato wedge snob, and the portion is phenomenal for $4.
Typically, I never order a burger "as-is" but to my delight, I was not disappointed. There is something about fresh shredded lettuce and beautiful creamy dressing (ketchup, yellow mustard, and mayo) atop a freshly prepared Smashburger on a toasted Brioche bun. I know I had you at Brioche.
It's a great addition to the neighborhood and my hubby Tim has already decided to try the rosemary cheese sauce with fries on our next visit. My next taste test will be the Lemon Honey Garlic Shrimp Bowl.
"Welcome to [Hayworth & Finch], home of the good burger. Can I take...
Read moreThe food was delicious and the atmosphere was clean and cozy. The one complaint I have is the young lady working the cash register last night (2/4/25) acted annoyed and was not pleasant when I came in at about 8:30pm for the first time to get something to eat..I guess she was annoyed about us coming so late (considering they close at 9:00pm) but that is no excuse to treat customers with an attitude or with annoyance. I was truly ready to walk our but my son really wanted to eat there. I would recommend that management do some training on better customer service at the cash register. For that reason I most likely won’t be back. But I encourage others to try the food because it’s very good…...
