Love the space and they usually have decent beer offerings. However, the last three times we’ve gone to Hi-Wire there have been A LOT of kids running around and not enough parental supervision. It made me feel like I was at an indoor playground which serves alcohol to parents. The kids were running around, serving as obstacles for the patrons. We observed birthday parties for young children being hosted at the brewery.. (No, I’m not kidding.) One of these parties occupied a large portion of the area right next to many of the game tables- making them unavailable for other patrons. I am a parent and LOVE kids, but don’t believe a brewery is the best environment at this age.I go to a brewery to enjoy beer and attend hosted community events, not to visit a playground. I asked bartenders if this was the norm on one of my visits and was told yes, but that this was not their decision. If management has made the business decision to be a place for parents to bring their kids and have parties for their babies and toddlers, that’s certainly their prerogative, I just wanted to share our experience. As for us: Our decision is to find a place with less child chaos to enjoy craft beer. Thankfully there are many local breweries to...
Read moreI had an incredible experience at Hi-Wire Brewing, thanks in large part to the outstanding service provided by Andy. His extensive knowledge of beer and genuine enthusiasm made my visit unforgettable. Andy went above and beyond, guiding me through their impressive selection and helping me curate the perfect flight, even in the face of my indecisiveness. The highlight for me was the Rye Whiskey Barrel Aged Manhattan Ale – it was truly fantastic and a must-try. I took some home! I also ventured into the world of Wickle's Pickles, and I'm delighted I did; it's a unique and enjoyable experience that I highly recommend, although I am glad I stuck to the smaller portion. (Not sure how I feel about drinking my pickles.) Also the fact that this place is pet-friendly adds an extra layer of charm, even though we were a dog-less group this time. Kudos to Hi-Wire Brewing and Andy for creating such a welcoming and...
Read moreHi-Wire is awesome. It’s in a great location and the addition of the pizza shop makes it that much better. I have a few complaints though. It seems like every time we go, the place is filled with children. We went a few weekends ago and there was a Toddlers birthday party happening there which did not seem appropriate. I love kids but there has to be some kind of line drawn. Its hard to enjoy any of the games or drinks when there are kids running around and yelling. I understand being family friendly but it isn’t a “fun park” and it is the main reason we do not want to come back. Also, I do think there could be a bigger selection of beers on tap....
