A group of us decided to try those string on a Saturday afternoon and make it the first stop of three. When we arrived there was about to be a really big storm. I wanted to hurry park and get inside, they do have their own parking lot which I found and was able to get inside quick. There is plenty of parking all over the place in this area. Don't let parking cause you not to go. Just go around the whole block and you'll see places to park. It's very clean, very well organized, it's very large inside. They have picnic tables, high tables, there are computers to place your order without having to speak to a human, there's a good size bar, and a large area for a band. There was a band playing that day which we were surprised to find, and they were playing Allman Brothers cover band music and had a large following, so there was a lot of good energy in the place. Place. I was impressed with how clean everything was. The floor was nice. Some people had brought their own chairs because it can hurt your back. After a while of sitting at a picnic table. I would say it's a family place in the afternoons. I don't know what it's like at night. My friends ate the burgers, I wasn't in the mood for a burger. I kind of want to chicken and even though we knew it was a burger place we thought there might be a couple of extra things we could try. I would suggest they make their menu both burgers or chicken rather than just one. There were a couple of kid meals which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely tell people to bring headphones for your babies and little ones. If you're going there for a conversation when a band is playing, you're in the wrong place, they do have an outside area though, but the summer in the south it can be quite steamy. So just keep that in mind. My friends tried some house bruise that they seem to like, I was just not in the mood for anything beyond water. But I had a great time and good people watching and...
Read moreI went to go see a Jon Reep (pictured) comedy show here last night. It was fantastic. Great Sound and I was glad they had pulled out chairs because those metal chairs that everybody has in their establishments are the worst chairs in the world. The plastic fold-out chairs are 10 times better. We didn't order food, because we read on the internet that they don't give you a table unless you have a party of eight or more and then you have to reserve a table which cost a bunch of money. People said the food was good, but if you have to sit with it in your lap, you may as well just go through a fast food joint first the bartenders were very quick and friendly and the place was completely filled. They served my high-end liquor in a glass as well as the draft beer for my husband. A glass a real glass! The only drawback is the sewage smell when you go back towards the bathrooms and I know exactly why that happens.... the grease trap needs cleaning and its what always causes the smell in businesses unless it is an actual broken sewage line. It wasn't that strong so I'm assuming the grease traps need cleaning. It's weird how you learn these things in life, but they do have three bathrooms, men's women's and unisex. Which is nice because the place was busy! It's a large venue and I think we will be there again when it's not a really busy night so we can...
Read moreDO NOT COME HERE. Walked in here around 6:50 on a Wednesday saw that it was packed for an event and to enter through the back entrance. Cool no problem. Went in through the back entrance and was greeted by a bartender who seemed nice. I then asked a simple question “hey I don’t have a ticket but I was trying to see if you had tables open.” Yes or no question. I was then responded to by a dark haired bartender 30-40 years old with the following: “oh it’s $20 per person to come in here” as if I couldn’t afford it, followed by “it’s a guns and roses cover band, do you even know who they are? Do you even listen to that kind of music?” For context, I’m black. As soon as I heard those things I called the bartender out on being rude. She made it seem like my business and service was not wanted there. I was fully ready to pay the cover and tip as well. These aren’t things ton say to a customer. She then tried to save herself by saying it was my young age that made her say these things, but I highly doubt it. I know this place was designed for rich northerners moving here, but you shouldn’t make anyone not feel welcome. I instead took my business elsewhere....
