Hidden Grounds is my favorite coffee shop in town and absolutely worth the wait. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee, and the atmosphere immediately makes you feel at home. The interior small but uniquely designed with cowboys, dinosaurs, and some of the coolest merch. There is a very inviting outdoor seating area, which is great for people-watching or a little bit of computer work when the weather is nice. The staff at Hidden Grounds is incredibly friendly and attentive. It’s clear that they’re knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. They have nailed their branding across the board. The marketing materials, from their menu to their takeout cups, are creative, modern, and eye-catching. Their dinosaur logo is memorable, and it’s clear they’ve put thought into their visual identity. Not to mention their social media presence is top-notch. Their Instagram feed is visually appealing, filled with engaging content of their employees, coffee, pastries, and special events. They do an excellent job of showcasing their products while also connecting with the local community. I’ve also noticed that they frequently update their social media with promotions, new seasonal drinks, and special events, making it easy to stay in the loop. Hidden Grounds offers a fair and reasonable range for the quality of coffee they provide. The prices are slightly higher than your average chain coffee shop, but it’s well worth it. Their specialty drinks, such as their seasonal lattes, are unique and flavorful, and you can taste the care that goes into each cup. The Minty Matcha, and Nanner Pudding are my signature favorites. It’s clear that they’re dedicated to crafting quality drinks and fostering a sense of community. Hidden Grounds Coffee Shop offers a perfect blend of great coffee, inviting atmosphere, and exceptional service. It’s become my go-to spot in Wilmington, and I can’t recommend it enough. Four legged friends are encouraged, and I think Gus enjoyed his time even more than myself. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this place is a must-visit!

This is might be new favorite coffee shop of all time. It has everything you would want and more. While we were planning our Wilmington trip, we added this spot to our itinerary based off of everything we saw online. After trying their campfire and salty dino drinks our first morning there, we came back two other times. Their ceremonial matcha was as good as they make it in Japan (I'm being so serious right now) and their iced chai latte is to clap cheeks for. We wanted to cafe hop around the historic town and beach but why do so when everything that comes after this will be a disappointment? Also, cowboys riding dinosaurs? Absolute genious. We bought three shirts and two hats. Their merchandise is insanely rad so cowboy hats off to whoever is the creative mastermind behind the branding. The illustrations are beautiful and fun. The baristas are all super kind and personable. The courtyard where you wait for your drinks and socialize is unique, cozy, and run. The place is nice about people bringing dogs and even has free treats for them. This place deserves 6 stars on Google. This place claps.

Today, Gloria and I decided we needed some GOOD coffee. After doing our research, Hidden Grounds was the first to pop up. Walking around the festival, we noticed a big line out the door for those waiting for coffee. look, I never wait for anything; however, this was WELL worth any wait time. Gloria convinced me to step out of my comfort zone and wait as we had amazing conversations with others waiting. When we were waiting, we were approached by Josh FIRST and he took time out of his duties to answer our equestrians prior to walking in. Upon walking in, we were greeted by the ENTIRE staff making anyone love coffee just by their customer service. Josh and Taylor, we THANK you for sharing your story and we LOVED everything about your coffee shop including a wonderful market you had which I advise everyone to visit and shop to show some love and support!

We WILL be back and again thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Wishing you the best of luck life has to offer and we wish you a successful journey as you continue to make a lot of people happy!!! cheers!

Gloria and...
