First time visiting Kid Shelleen's - Trolley Square for brunch. Overall, it was a good experience. Fast service, decent food, and the restaurant has a nice, open atmosphere with stylish decor. Overall Ratings: Restaurant: 4/5 Service: 4/5 Food: 3/5 Parking: Street & private lot available Atmosphere: The main dining room is spacious and open, which I really liked. There’s also outdoor seating available for warmer days. The place was clean and well-kept overall. Service: Our waitress was prompt, friendly, and professional. No complaints here. What We Ordered: -Egg Chesapeake – Great flavor! The crab cakes were a nice touch. The home fries were a standout—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside. -Breakfast Burrito – Not bad, pretty solid, though nothing extraordinary. One thing I really loved is, both meals came with homemade cinnamon buns—light, airy, and delicious. Such a nice surprise! Final Thoughts: The brunch menu felt a bit limited, but what we tried was decent. I’d consider coming back, especially if they rotate in some seasonal brunch items or expand the offerings a bit.

We pulled our bikes up to the back gate, BUT WALKED IN THROUGH THE FRONT!! 🙃(the gate is only an exit.. pleasantly so, once you've finished dining on the outside patio!) It was probably 4:30/5 on a Sunny September Saturday and the two of us were seated right away. I had a hard time choosing between all the menu options! In hindsight I would have gone for the Beyond Burger, because the mushroom soup I ordered had no mushrooms in it? Lol. They replaced my soup with no issues and I enjoyed the french onion (complete with perfectly exploding cheese crisps on the outskirts of the bowl😍.) The sweet potato fries were yummy albeit a bit small for sharing.... Unfortunately I would not go back for the bread pudding either. It was a little loafy for pudding and I had to add salt for flavor 😬. I would still go back to try other menu items and even just for the ambience. Perhaps night time, next.

Has a relaxed atmosphere tucked in a local neighbourhood beside some nice greenery and a train. Perfect patio vibes, and inside has a cool bar feel with wood tabletops and warm lighting. Food was great, everything was fresh and tasty. Got a order of wings in a sweet chili chipotle bbq sauce and a charcoal grilled burger with coleslaw. Wings were a bit pricey but they were big and meaty with good crispy skin, so you feel like you get your moneys worth. Sauce was sweet and tangy, a perfect accompaniment. Burger was cooked perfectly and had great smokey flavour and the bun was nicely toasted. Veggies and slaw were both fresh with good crunch. Service was great too, the staff was friendly always available, checked on me often. Overall very satisfied. If you want a family friendly joint with good food and a relaxed neighbourhood vibe, defintely visit.

We had heard good things about Kid Shelleen's since moving to the area, and we were looking forward to awesome burgers. The place was busy and lively, with TVs everywhere. This place is all about the TVs, so that's something you should know before you go. We called before we went and were told that there would most likely be a table for our party of three, and there was, which was great. The food, sadly, was middling. My burger was meh. My husband's burger was overcooked. BUT this review isn't really about the food. It's about the shard of glass that was on the edge of my husband's beer, which he nearly swallowed, and which I felt wasn't treated with appropriate horror. Swallowing glass is very, very serious. A friend of a friend swallowed a shard of glass in a restaurant and had to have multiple surgeries. It nearly killed him, and he couldn't work for well over a year, all while drowning in medical bills. BROKEN GLASS IS SERIOUS. I spent ten years as a bartender, and broken glass happens. And when it happens, it needs to be IMMEDIATELY handled, no matter how busy you are. Ingesting broken glass can be deadly. Our meal was comped, but far more important than our one meal is staff education. And should a (hopefully rogue) piece of glass make its way to a guest, it should be treated with utter seriousness. The AGM was as nice as could be, and spent a good bit of time chatting with us. I am hoping that she initiated some staff education, but regardless, we...

Awesome place been here for lunch a few times really chilled environment never can go wrong with the food. My fiance and I met here for lunch today she had chicken tortilla soup and a salad, I had canitas tacos bourbon bar b que wings and chicken corn chowder soup, everything was delicious. And a special shout out to our awesome server Ariel she was so awesome and we were very happy with her, l told her about my mom being a server for the better part of my life so I personally know it's a thankless job because every customer seems to think they are the only customer in the building and management always hears the little complaints but never hears the positive. Hey my food was great Hey my server was very friendly and consistent, Hey would you mind saying thanks again to my server? Anyway we could have went anywhere else but we decided Kid Shelleens today and glad we came back here and definitely will not only come back but bring some friends and or family, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING ARIEL, ( BARBARA AND I...
