Pre last year I would have given 5 stars, but idk what has been happening. They have how they cook their fish and meat down, but the rest of the dish was very bad. We had a party of 12-13 for Christmas Eve and we waited at least 30 mins at the bar after our reservation and our 86 yo Nonna couldn’t sit on the high bar chairs and it took us a while to get her a chair that she could sit it. Once we sat down, everything was fine until we started getting the food. The polenta was sooooooo over salted, inedible really. And THE GNOCCHI!!! Was totally inedible. It was like straight flower. Again, steak and seafood (scallops and shrimp) were great, but it was just so disappointing when our family has been going there for years and we really had to work on making my old grandmother comfortable while waiting so long at the restaurant. I hope they get it together again because they are usually amazing. Waitresses* not waiters, were great and attentive. But come on guys, it was like they overbooked the night and were trying to figure out seats and tables all night. I don’t think our family will be back after this, not sure how many more Christmas Eves we will have with my grandmother but we want to make them quality so we will continue to do...

Went in to grab a few quick to go items yesterday. While the counter staff is friendly enough, they never seem to have any idea regarding the food in the cold case. I have been disappointed a few times regarding freshness of items at this place so I always ask how long the items have been sitting. Well this time there was no one who could answer the question so I decided to ask the pastry chef was was standing a few feet away. I assume that was a bad idea as I was approached a bit aggressively by the owner who seemed to have an attitude. I will stop there. Nowadays we do all that we can to support local places and it seems that they just disappoint. I know, just stop going right? I agree completely. I also think it was odd that in these uncertain times that no one had on a mask. I know it's not required but such a strange statement for a restaurant to make. I guess they do so well that they don't have to worry about making people feel...

Most inattentive staff without a reason. Not busy in the slightest and we still had the worst service. Not our first time visiting and finally gave in to write a review. As a server in a fine dining restaurant I try to give the benefit of the doubt, but this was bad. Sat in the lounge area with the bar and waited an average of 15-20 min between each interaction. My standard, no modification meal was brought to me without the ingredients listed on it, my drink was grabbed in haste to be cleared but was still 3-4 sips away from being finished, and we were definitely ignored over the one "regular" table that was visited on average 3-4x more by not only the server but the manager who never visited any other tables. What should have been a 45 min dinner turned into a 1 hour and 30 min dinner. With so many places around to compete and their prices being the highest of all of them, you'd think you would give great service. Unfortunately...

Ordered delivery from Toscana to Go. I ordered the chicken cipolla and a chicken ceaser salad. I have ordered the sandwich before and it was good, a chicken breast sandwich. This time I got a sloppy mess with cold and finely sliced chicken. It was the same chicken that was on the salad. It was almost minced it was so thinly sliced, very unpleasant. I suspect the chef was lazy and tried to use the salad chicken for the sandwich? Or perhaps they didn't make enough and tried to spread it between both dishes? Whatever it was is unacceptable. I doubt there was even an Oz. of chicken on my sandwich, one half had none on it. It's insulting to think a customer wouldn't notice. You cancel the order if you are too lazy make it. I spent $30 on two dishes and ended up going out to get food elsewhere later due to the small portions. There are plenty of good options in the area, don't risk it.

Its rare that I offer a restaurateur 5 stars, but in this case I feel its jusitified. PT hits all the right marks, authentic cleverness in their dishes, friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff, and a contemporary casual atmosphere to enjoy it all. We were a party of four, engrossed in catching up with each others lives, as it had been a while and PT played the perfect host. Subtly dimmed but not dark lighting, delicious appetizers and entrees that have a nostalgic old world feel, with a touch of modern culinary nuance. We were served efficiently, not hastily nor slowly, there is also a large cocktail list to choose from if you imbibe, and tempting desserts, should you require further indulgence. I highly encourage you to visit if you haven't, its the right side of very good.

A lovely Italian restaurant bordering Trolley Square. The service is immaculate as the servers are very attentive and provide anything you need. The food was tremendous and the the drinks were good, although I’d suggest broadening the beer on draught considering draught beer pairs so well with the menu items. We were a larger party so we requested they leave pitchers of water on the table so we wouldn’t have to bother the waitress for water so often, but apparently the owner has a policy of no visible pitchers because it’s a “poor aesthetic.” Anyway we saw plenty of pitchers placed just feet away on a surface way more visible than our dining table.
