Nelly's — Restaurant in Wilmington

Ordered basic burgers and grilled cheese with fries. After waiting a half hour and watching several people come in, order and leave, I approached the counter where the girl wanted to take my order again! I told her I have been waiting 30 minutes and was just curious. She handed me a bag of food and I knew this wasn't my order. I took it rather than start a scene and struggle with a refund. My family was hungry and we needed get home. My opinion of the staff is of complete incompetence. They apparently weren't concerned with my order while I was standing and pacing their dining area for that half hour. They didn't even recognize the fact I was there and wanted to take my order again! My opinion of the food I did receive: Fries, very salty, could not finish them. Beef sandwich, same, very salty. Pulled pork sandwich, was good, but by no means outstanding. Fried mushrooms, typical. Double cheeseburger, I don't know, my son inhaled it. It looked good, but he was starving and I didn't ask him. Overall experience: one of the worst I've ever had to suffer for American Comfort Food. I recommend anyplace else in Wilmington... Try Citgo.... At least you'll know what you'll get there! Nellys before the move would have been a 4-5 star. Service was great and fast.... food was great. We stopped here 2-3+ times a month.... since they have moved we have been there twice.... the 1st time we were not impressed. Was actually hard to find because it's in the back of a brewery and down the hall with very small signs. Service was very slow and not impressed at the end of it.... tonight, after over a month we decided to try again. Once again, the. Service was VERY slow. We waited over 30 minutes for 3 sandwiches and an order of fries and mozzarella Stix. There was a couple who came in 10 mins after us who got theirs before us. When i went back and asked if the pager thing was working, everyone seemed like they were in 1st gear and we got a "sorry bout the delay".... definitely not same Nellys as before. I ordered a wrap and a cheese steak.... both with jalapenos.... when I got home I had the jalapenos and ranch in containers to put on myself.... so I had to unwrap my wrap.... add my stuff and rewrap just to eat. We definitely won't be frequenting this new place like we used to.... maybe once every cpl months for something different.... but won't be making it a regular...

Food was pretty good other than the fact that I had to reheat my entire order when I got home. Let me back up. I placed my order online, where some of the options REQUIRE you to pick a sauce, which you are then charged for(no option to omit). I get to Nelly's 10 minutes early to pick up my order, attempting to go through the drive through. I sit at the intercom for 7 minutes trying to get anyone's attention as per requested on the outside sign to no avail. I pull up to the drive thru window which no one is manning and sit there another 5 minutes, to no avail. So I decide to go in to pick up my order, which I then have to wait on line another 20.... yes 20.... minutes before the first person in the current line order was taken. Another 10 minutes before my turn final comes up and the lady hands me my order. My food was sitting on the back counter the entire time since I stood in line(found out after I finally received my order). Not exactly sure if there was something I could of done differently as it was my first time there. Not sure it should take 40 minutes for me to grab an already paid for and prepared food order. I'll try again some day but not...
