The Scoop — Restaurant in Wilmington

So we decided to finally try The Scoop. It's the new ice cream shop nicely tucked away in downtown Wilmington, IL.. The ice cream shop has a simple inviting look. Their menu is simple. There is a sign on the wall that explains to please be patient all the worker are new and they will do their best to help everyone. We'll that sign is far from being helpful, everyone did a fantastic job. All of the workers did a great job. I tried a banana split, it was perfectly made and the presentation was perfect. My wife had a turtle sundae and that was also perfectly made. The Scoop is a very nice addition to the downtown area of Wilmington. We were impressed. So if you find yourself in the Wilmington, IL area and have taste for a scoop, stop in and visit the newest addition to downtown Wilmington, IL. The Scoop. We were passing through town decided to stop for some ice cream. Outside was decorated lollipops I felt like I was in candy land. This little ice cream shop had lots of different flavors to choose from as well as cones. I had the strawberry cheesecake it was a recommendation, it was absolutely delicious. I paired it with a chocolate dipped waffle cone tasted like a chocolate covered strawberry. My nana had the Superman she said she loved it! Stopped in for a sundae. The interior is very cute, although there are not many places to sit. There are, however, several picnic tables outside that are great to sit on. There are several games inside and candy machines with a variety of types of candy. Many choices of ice cream and special sundaes. We decided to get the Apple Pie sundae. It was very good!
