I've never been to Panera Bread before, but I got a gift card for the holidays so i thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I didn't pay for this. The first time I went I tried to order from inside. I was waiting in a line with 4 other people. There was no one at the counter. Finally someone in line started walking around trying to find someone to work the counter and the person who was supposed to be working the register was sitting at a table playing on her cellphone. After waiting a little longer me and another customer decided to just walk out. The second time I went back was through the drive-thru. The menu is confusing to say the least. I ordered a Chicken baguette whole and what I got was a half sandwich on some sort of buttered toast and not on a baguette. The amount of chicken was sad and the red onion completely overpowered everything. The third time I went back to clear out my gift card was today and again, another miserable experience. I ordered the chicken sandwich that costs over $13 for no good reason. I asked if it came with chips and the lady on the drive-thru speaker said, "it can". I don't know what that meant. I asked for a bag of chips. I got to the window and paid. I got my food within a reasonable time. The lady put the bag out the window without saying anything. I said "Thank You" and was greated with a cold stare and silence. I got home and started eating the sandwich and I cannot figure out why anyone would pay $13 for that soggy, tasteless sandwich. The chips were better than the sandwich. The chicken patty was dry, the lettuce was almost slimy, and the mayo was a small dot. The bread looked really impressive, but could not pull out an actual good taste from it. I've had the taste of that sandwich stuck in my mouth for the last hour and really am sad to see the state of things at this restaurant. I will avoid this place entirely in the future. I still have money on my giftcard, but it just isn't...
Read moreIt's unlikely that my family will return to this restaraunt. Quality and consistency have been issues before but its worse than ever now. I spent $50 for my son, elderly mother and myself to eat lunch. All we got were U pick 2s and drinks. My mom and I got the same soup. Her bowl was half full and mine was filled up. Both were lukewarm. My salad was ok except for a bug I found in the butt end of a romaine lettuce head. My son's salad was half the size of mine. Barely anything. My mom's sandwhich literally looked like a pre-schooler assembled it. My mom got an iced coffee. There was no creamer and no iced coffee (also would it kill you guys to put a creamer over by the iced coffee decanter... Just a thought). At the end of the meal, I went up to the passthrough to ask for a to-go box because under that counter only had the lids. I listened to two young employees (Hanover students by thier T shirts) talk about thier weekend plans and despite trying to get thier attention was ignored until I made forceful eye contact with one of them to ask for a box. I understand that they were just kids but where the heck was management? Certainly no where to be found in the dining area. I had to wipe of my table when we first sat down with some baby wipes. I picked the least messy table I could. The bathroom was gross. Overall, I felt...
Read moreI go here pretty often and I just went through the drive through recently to get a drink. I pulled around to the window and realized I forgot to put in my rewards number so I politely asked to put my number in. They didn’t even say anything as I put the number in and then closed the window. They opened the window again, handed me my drink and shut the window. Didn’t even make any eye contact. I am apart of the sip club so I thought that that would cover my drink but when the worker handed it to me turned around and shut the window without even telling me if I owe anything or have a good day or anything I sat for a second because I wasn’t going to drive off if I had to pay for it because so far I wasn’t told anything. After a second of me sitting there the worker comes back to the window and gives me the dirtiest like “can I help you??” without saying anything and so I say does my sip club cover this and with the DIRTIEST look again, they go um yeah… you ordered a medium pepsi… being so condescending and so I begin to speak again and say something like well thanks for letting me know but half way through my sentence they shut the door again!! this was so extremely rude and there was no...
