I can't decide if I should give 2 or 3 stars. They have always gotten my drink right when I order in person (thus far, perhaps a total of 8 times), but they severely mess it up 50% or more of the time when I order through Uber Eats or the Starbucks Mobile app (15+ times).
Today, one of my housemates ordered through the mobile app. I can see based on the label he ordered it correctly. We ordered a grande, iced shaken espresso, 1/3 decaf, with 3 pumps vanilla, strawberry drizzle, and soymilk.
I've ordered this drink once before (well, my housemate ordered it for me), and it was amazing. This time it was missing vanilla, had really watery espresso shots, was missing an inch of liquid, and based on the migraine I am acquiring I assume they probably didn't use any decaf shots.
I won't be able to finish this drink. It is horrible. It was a long time ago, but I have worked as both a Starbucks and non-Starbucks barista.. and cannot understand how they can, 1. be so inconsistent, and 2. mess up a drink to such an extent.
People like me who have health conditions and caffeine sensitivities can become ill if given too much caffeine. It is important that baristas take the wellbeing of their customers seriously. I cannot say for certain that they did not use any decaf espresso for today's drink, but I do want to put this in my review just in case.
I do not drive, or I would've gotten the drink myself. I am unable to go back to request my drink be remade properly. I feel it is incredibly irresponsible and disrespectful to become lax in your job merely because someone isn't there to make a complaint or ensure you do your job adequately. This isn't even just a Starbucks issue, I have discovered similar issues with a few other places.
My drink is missing liquid most of the time, although not always an entire inch of it (I always get the shaken iced espresso). Baristas need to take foam created during the shaking process into consideration. I am ordering a grande drink, meaning I am paying for and expect a grande drink. A full, 16oz cup.
When I do not order a shaken espresso, I order an iced green tea latte (which also uses a shaker). There are shaking methods and pouring methods that help minimize the amount of foam created and poured. I never had this issue when making iced green tea lattes, double-shots, or shaken tea lemonades.
I am very frustrated. Another housemate of mine decided last week they will no longer order from Starbucks. I might follow suit, because the only thing consistent with Starbucks seems to be problems. I apologize if my review seems harsh.
Oh, I forgot to add that I believe they often give me light ice, when I never order light ice. There are measuring scoops, so unless they are actively choosing not to measure properly I don't understand how this can happen. Another one of my drinks had disgusting specks floating around from this location, so I threw it out and had my money wasted. So much frustrate. Much sad. Knowing me, I will at least order sometimes when I am in person. Hopefully issues like these...

My boyfriend ordered a tall hot coffee and was told by a male worker in an extremely annoyed tone it wpuld take 5 mins to brew a new coffee or would he rather a different coffee. Without my wallet, I was very embarrassed and aggravated with my sis. The gentleman not only made my entire order but did it without even asking me for any $. I would HIGHLY recommend this location. One of the bigger ones with lots of soft couches, love seats and chairs and there's always some available.
