I truly believe that the Alchemist Café is one of South Florida’s last true gems.

I’ve been coming here since it opened and will continue to do so every time I’m back in South Florida. With the area growing so quickly, green spaces are hard to come by. Let alone a space this unique which packs so much flavor into everything that it offers. I’ve come here with family, to explore, to work and study and am always left wanting to return.

Their hot chocolate is one of a kind and I’m Colombian, we love our hot chocolate. It is served with hot milk and what appears to be a dark brown scroll. This is your chocolate and you can add as much or as little as you’d like making it such a great experience. It’s rare not to sneak a bite of the scroll.

The iced coffee is their signature and almost a key to survival in the Florida heat. Not only will it be some of the best iced coffee you’ve ever had but the ice cubes are made of coffee. Rather than watering the coffee down as it melts, it just changes the flavor profile making the experience that much better.

The location itself is also beautiful with all sorts of unique furniture and decorations making you feel like you are im a lab. Despite a tom of outdoor seating, the heat rarely gets overwhelming because of all the tree cover and plants.
