My first visit here was a good experience and the food was delicious. We had the lobster roll with hush puppies and a crab cake sandwich with the house made chips and coleslaw. The lobster roll was very good with large chunks of lobster, would suggest to add a little more of the dressing mix though to add more depth of flavor. The hush puppies were made with pieces of corn with a nice crispy shell and soft on the inside. The house chips were ok but need more flavor. The coleslaw was a creamy style easy on the vinegar with a nice balanced flavor. The crab cake was a good size with many lumps of crab, good ratio of crab to filler. They also have a good assortment of fresh/frozen seafood including varieties of tuna, scallops, oysters, cod etc... Now for my one star deduction, this place is pricy. I know seafood is expensive and I expect to pay a decent amount for it but here add about 20% more. Due to location setup this place is take out only with no seating available however they do have a drive thru. This is however my only critical feedback everything else was great and I will still return!

Been wanting to try this place for sometime, but since it is carry out or outdoor seating we had to wait till it was warmer. My husband was very happy with his meal, he got the grilled salmon hush puppies and fries. I tried the lobster roll that came with slaw and a side (I was not a fan of the slaw and the lobster roll was dry and nut much meat. Description said sautƩed in garlic and butter and did not taste either. Hubs wants to get the salmon again so I will try something else. For the price my meal was not worth it.

Dan's Seafood is my go to place for dishes from the sea. The Crab cake sandwich is my favorite along with the dip. It's got all the right flavor and always leaves me wanting more. We've had several items from Dan's and have loved every one of them. The only down side is there isn't a place to eat on site, though I believe they have some outdoor picnic tables outside now. You can't go wrong grabbing a bite from here!

We stopped in on a busy Friday night, it was well into dinner time and since we didn’t call ahead we placed our order and waited. I think they told us it would be 25 minutes, but I don’t think it actually took that long. The atmosphere inside was casual and friendly and the service was excellent. We ordered Maryland crab soup, a lobster roll, and the tuna tacos. We got fries and hush puppies as a side along with coleslaw and took home some key lime pie for dessert. Everything was excellent, as we expected based on the food at Village Square and Water Street. We will absolutely be back both for their prepared food and for any of the large variety of fresh and...

So excited to have a local seafood spot! We ordered a good variety of items so I thought it may be helpful to rate each. Fried scallops- 10/10 āļø Fried rockfish- 10/10 āļø Fried oysters- 9/10, needed a little more salt but overall really good! OBX chowder- 7/10, delicious flavor, however, needs tweaks. If it were thickened to chowder consistency with a bit more seafood added, it’d be perfect! Broiled crabcake- 6/10, great flavor but small with too much filler and not enough lumped crab. Potato salad- 6/10, but after I added salt I’d say 8/10! Coleslaw- just standard coleslaw; not bad, not great

Next time we order we’ll stick with the scallops, fish,...
