Lovely coffee shop, record selection is mostly older vinyls like classic rock and 80s music, they had some newer things but I wasn't familiar with them. I'd say don't expect your favorite artist or niche genre to be here, even if they're at other record stores. I got an iced mocha and it was pretty good, my girlfriend got a hazelnut latte with oatmilk and hers was quite nice as well. We also got the shortbread cookies. I did not see any sandwiches or other breakfast treats but I didn't look very hard. They had liquid death, ginger beer, mexican coke, and some other non-coffee drinks on the side and a couple other snacks that were prepackaged. The atmosphere was nice, a good amount of seating, cute artwork up and down, the decor was very rustic and it felt lived in. I didn't buy any beans but they're a roastery with first party coffee and I thought it was quite good so I'd be confident buying beans from them.
Minor complaint but there wasn't clearly labeled parking, I live in a metropolitan area and it's sort of a no-no to park in lots across the street or for other businesses, and so we ended up parking behind the shop in a side spot since we weren't spending a ton of time there. I'd say a sign or something if not something you can see by the road something on the door that says "hey you can park in the habanero lot" or...
Read moreQuiet lil coffee shop with lots of personality and friendly folks behind the counter. Simplistic menu with classic coffee items using their very own roasted beans. Almond milk and oat milk available and it looked like local dairy milk too. They had some beautiful homemade looking pastries from Cowbell, I would have gotten one of each if I had the ability to eat that much.
Our mochas were made with steamed chocolate milk, not overly sweet, a pleasant roast, smooth, and just the right temperature.
In August of 2021, their main dining area is closed due to the pandemic and masks are only required if you aren't vaccinated. The employees were masked up. I felt very safe and comfortable here. The coffee shop dog that greeted me as I walked in was just the sweetest, very calm, didn't jump, and even gave me a few kisses after I gave him lots...
Read moreFantastic coffee shop. This is an experience that I've never seen in Winchester! I'm typically pretty snobby when it comes to coffee and tea, and Hopscotch had me more than surprised. Pour overs were VERY reasonably priced ($2.75) along with everything else. Great selection of single origins and teas; I went with two friends and was able to try three different single origins (Brazil, Ethiopian, and Bali) along with a tea blend (turmeric and ginger). VERY good coffee and well presented in custom mugs! Atmosphere was also fantastic and had plenty of seating. They also have a section of the store dedicated to records, which has a great number of local bands! Great prices, great selection, and very clean and organized. Employees were very kind as well. Would highly recommend to anyone! 5/5 stars time and time again--this is what...
