BC Bubble Tea and Bánh Mì — Restaurant in Windcrest

Saw this place on my way out from the noisy Starbucks nearby from trying to study. I wanted to try their banh mi (Vietnamese sandwiches) because I saw the sign and hadn’t seen this place here before. Apparently it’s just opened up fairly recent in the past few months.

Definitely a great spot for boba tea and coffee. Very nice ambiance and awesome spot for studying. This is my new go to for boba and study. I’m fairly new to the area from Cali and I’d say this is one of the few spots that measures up to the West Coast in the local area (this is from exploring the local SA joints). Excited for this place and can’t wait til they do their grand opening in a few weeks. Super excited to try their banh mi in a few weeks. Currently they’re serving only drinks but the drinks are delicious and reasonably priced.

Pros: -Thankfully music isn’t blaring and it’s not crazy loud inside. The inside of the building feels like a completely different place compared to the exterior. Do not be dissuaded by the exterior, you’ll be pleasantly surprised as you walk in like I was haha. -Relaxing cafe music (slower tempo) -nice cozy couch area if you need a break from the tables -HIGHLY recommended if you’re looking for a place to drink and study (tables are big enough to accommodate groups of 8 and even 16 if you end up taking all for tables but that’s probably overkill) -Very clean inside (tables, couches and bathroom)

BC Bubble Tea and Bahn Mi is an absolute gem. The first thing that struck me was how clean and tidy the shop was. The small menu was perfect as it was not overwhelming, making it easy to decide on what to order. I went for the avocado smoothie with boba, and let me tell you, it was amazing! The boba had a unique flavor, almost like creme brulee, and it was definitely some of the best boba I've ever had.

The staff at BC Bubble Tea and Bahn Mi were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was impressed by how quickly my drink was prepared, especially considering they used fresh avocado. In under two minutes, my drink was ready, and I was able to savor the delicious taste of the avocado smoothie. Just look at my face!

One of the things that stood out to me was that they offer a military discount, which is always appreciated.
