To say we are absolutely disgusted by what we saw at this location today is such an understatement. We went to your location today for lunch, we have a couple people in our family who are gluten free and we have always loved your shops because our whole family can eat together and the food is great. My friend did a mobile order and when we arrived half of it wasn’t ready, no problem, I went to the counter to purchase some chips, guy at the register finishes the costumer ahead of me, says nothing and just walks out back. I stand and wait, finally someone else notices and rings me up, says they haven’t even started the other half, no problem, I stand off to the side and watch them make the food. Our gluten free bowl, which we put in the notes in big bold letters and told the girl at the counter twice to be sure it was safe, we watched and they had no separate station like most other locations, they didn’t use a tray, separate utensils or items like all the other locations we have visited do, all she did was take a dirty rag from the counter and wipe off the slicer. I’m watching them set unsliced meat down on counters full of bread crumbs before putting it back in the cooler. The girl slices the meat for the gluten free bowl and then goes and put the meat down with parchment paper underneath in a pile of bread crumbs, the same paper going into the box with gluten free food…. I went up and said, "umm this is for someone who is gluten free, like an allergy, you can’t do that". She shrugs and says this other guy will do it, on the counter covered in bread and goes to reach in the bins that are filthy and full of floating bread crumbs on the main station. I said something to the people behind the counter and they go “ Well I guess she should have grabbed a tray” and just shrugs and doesn't see the issue, offer to get clean stuff etc. I ask if they can get clean stuff from the back that is clean if they don’t have a good station and remake it so it’s safe. They just stare at me. I tell them to just refund me, we aren’t getting our family sick. There was no apology, explanation or anything beyond them saying something about other station is a pain to clean?
As someone who’s gluten free I have always loved Jersey Mikes we used to go to other locations weekly, but this was horrific and dangerous, we don't expect perfection as we get there is still cross contamination risk as its not an exclusive kitchen, but other locations actually give a crap about not just allergens but food safety in general. These people are going to get someone very sick and they don’t even give a damn because supposedly one of the ones I talked to was a manager, at least that is what they said. So now we had half our family without lunch. This was disgusting in an allergy safety standard and a food safety standard. Not to mention the complete lack of customer service. I always try to be understanding, as I have worked in food service, and hate to be a Karen but this was horrific and not safe. Read moreI am a third-party delivery driver and I’ve been having a lot of problems here lately showing up 20 +minutes after the order has come through and the food is not made, while they’re making all the Carriyout customers first.
I start the 15 minute timer when I arrived and if it’s not done than I cancel the delivery on my part and let the customers know that they are making the line of walk-in’s orders ahead of their pre-ordered delivery.
I get paid for my attempted pick up if i wait 15 minutes. I don’t get paid for standing at stores or in drivethrus for 20+ minutes waiting on food that should be ready on arrival.
Last weekend I went in and stood there for 10 minutes to inquire about my 27 minute okd delivery and the one guy behind the counter never even acknowledged I was standing there. I gave up waiting for him to ask me if could help me and I canceled. first let the customer know they were literally ignoring me there.
Tonight I’ve been standing here for 20 minutes and they were working on my delivery when I arrived.
One sandwich is in the bag behind the counter and the guy that told me it was coming right up 20 minutes ago has disappeared. Again canceled and informed customer they’re not making their food and doing walk-in’s first
I think I will avoid pick ups here until they can get things running more smoothly. they first opened I didn’t have too many problems here Shouldn’t take 25 minutes for two sandwiches to be put on the pick up rack...

I am so happy I finally decided to check out Jersey Mike’s. They went above and beyond with their service, far exceeding how other places are to make sure my food was made perfectly, they took great care in preparing my food as to accommodate my allergy to gluten and it was such quick service! I don’t even think 5 minutes passed before I had my hot Philly cheese steak sub in my hands. Having an allergy it is hard to find gluten free food. The service from the employees was above and beyond, they made sure to take the time and and use new gloves etc. to ensure my bread stayed free of gluten! As I was leaving I was asked how I enjoyed my food! Now that is 5 star service! I am glad I went in because I now have a new sandwich spot, especially since subway got rid of gluten free! But I am now glad they did otherwise I probably wouldn’t have checked out Jersey Mike’s. The quality of the sandwiches are wayyyy...
