BEWARE OF THE TACO BELL FRANCHISE: The Owner Kayla Hoffman is fueled by greed by exploiting and scamming teenage kids out of their hard earned money by not paying them for the hours they worked, not returning workers texts, shutting off her voicemail, and work conditions are horrible. Kayla Hoffman is the owner of this Taco Bell Windsor Store number 026707 along with 8 other Taco bell franchises, and recently 1 got shut down for violations. I just talked to Windsor Police Officer #951, Bryan Heaton, about Kayla's labor violations of employees, especially not paying their employees, abuse of child labor laws, and the horrible work conditions. My 15 year old Daughter, Sabrina worked there as one of their top workers and did a phenomenal job according to customers, her manager Justin Dean, and all of her coworkers. Sabrina worked 36 hours and was only paid 22 hours and she has tried to text and call Kayla and she doesn't return her texts. Sabrina has quit working there about a month ago but Kayla still owes her 14 hours of pay, that Kayla refuses to answer her text or pay Sabrina.
I have confirmed that Kayla has done this to multiple employees. One employee is about to bring her to court if she does not pay in 1 more week. Kayla is abusing child labor laws and work conditions are horrible. When Sabrina worked there, there was no heat in the winter, and in the summer, there was no air condition and internal temperatures reached way past 90 degrees F. There is constant turnover and Kayla is taking advantage of the fact that she thinks kids age 15 cannot find jobs elsewhere or people cannot find better jobs. Oh yes they can! If you ask any worker here, they will tell you the same story. Do not eat at the TACO BELL FRANCHISE and fuel Kayla's greed and exploitation of teenage workers and accept the fact that she is doing this to her workers. I have left a detailed text message to Kayla Hoffman. She has shut off her voice messages.
**ATTENTION: Those Employees that have been affected please come forward. I will be filing a report on Kayla Hoffman with the Labor Department that enforces these rules and can shut her stores down. In fact she owns 8 Taco Bell Franchise stores and 1 just got shut down for violations.

Read moreI've given this place a lot of chances, but I can honestly say that this is the worst taco bell restaurant I've ever been to and one of the worst fast food restaurants in general, which is saying something for Windsor.
As I sat waiting in the drive thru, there was music blaring from the kitchen with just about every profanity you can think of. I was told that the store can only take cash payments (they haven't taken cards in 2+ weeks) and that they are out of beans. Employees were screaming at each other about who needed to clean what, and in general, my 13 year old brother could have provided more polite service without even thinking about it. I waited close to half an hour for my food, and to top it off, they got my order wrong.
I get that restaurants have their bad times, but when mediocrity becomes the norm and decent service is the exception, it's time to reevaluate. I cannot express the amount of times I have come to the drive thru only to realize that the employees have closed up shop an hour before their hours indicate they should be closed. And the lobby is perpetually dirty with it being nearly impossible to find a table without food on it.
This is the best you can do for a taco shop in the small town of Windsor? Take some pride in your business or shut it down because honestly, you should feel embarrassed taking people's money with the way things are working right now.
If you're thinking of eating here, don't. Go literally anywhere else! The Timnath Taco Bell isn't a super far drive, and you'll be much more satisfied with your experience there. Just don't give this place your hard...
Read moreCan I please get my tostadas made so they don't look like slop? Every time! The cheese is barley a sprinkle, not even a pinch! I always order without sauce, some of the times they get that right, but I continually get slop on a half covered shell. I visit this store at least once a week, mostly 3 times a week. I was hoping service and food would get better with the new owners but as soon as you all put kids in charge the ucky starts. Occasionally we get a welcoming face or hello. What happened to proper food service and preparation? I don't want anymore (I've gotten 2) free taco coupons. I order tostadas and burritos, an occasional Mexican pizza. The last 2 of the last 4 times I didn't even say anything because the problem continues like a chronic headache. And I feel like a nag. The embarrassment should be on you, the owners, not me! Today my total was $6.50-ish, I gave them one of those free taco coupons (because I had the coupon) just to realize they took my coupon but didn't deduct it from my change of a $20 bill. I received $13 dollars and change. No receipt. I'm so frustrated! It's a simple job! I've done it myself. In a dual restaurant where it also served KFC. A tad more brains necessary, but a simple job no less. PLEASE! Make me happy and make my tostadas proper from now on. I do have pics of the last few visits because I'm so aggravated about it. It happens like a chronic headache. Constantly recurring. I drive-thru with a rare dine-in. How do I...
