Went to get breakfast this morning, and my SO had mentioned that there was a 2 for $4 deal on the breakfast sandwiches last time she went to McDonalds. Well, when we inquired about it, we were told that deal was exclusive to Minnesota locations, and that this one was supposedly a Wisconsin location. Despite this store being, quite obviously, a store on the Minnesota side of the border, I wasn't going to argue that in the drive-through.
We began ordering, and after about 2 items, the order-taker cut us off (seemingly out of no-where), and told us our total and to pull up to the next window. We weren't done ordering, so I asked if I could still add a few items, which she did do. After paying, I pulled up to the second window, and was told to park.
Let me note that, since I used to work at a McDonalds, I am quite understanding about being parked to wait for food. It is never a problem for me. As I am about to pull forward, some other car from behind us pulls into the space we were told to pull into. (This isn't McDonalds fault) So, fearing that they might end up thinking the other car is us, I inform them that another car has taken our space. They tell us to pull into spot 2, which I do.
We had waited 5 minutes, until one of the workers from inside came out and asked for our receipt, so she could take it inside. I gave her the receipt, and then waited another 5 minutes before we got our order. I'm not sure what exactly had happened with our original order, or if they just forgot what we had, but it still wasn't a...

Customer service is explaining in a polite non intimidating tone why you are saying what you saying: it’s not rocket science you would do better in a warehouse not...
Read moreIf you want to go inside you have to order from a kiosk. When we pulled in there were no cars out front and one car in the drive thru. We didn't want to order from the kiosk, so we came back to our car and went through the drive thru. We ended up having to go and park in the number one space and they brought the order out to us. My cheeseburger wasn't hot but the chicken nuggets were. We didn't have frys or any drinks except water. We dont do fast food as a rule but we were so tired we were not going to cook. Mostly cold food is a real turn off for me. The workers were pleasant and...
