El Patron Mexican Grill & Cantina — Restaurant in Winona

Food is the best Mexican in town which doesn’t say much. I’ve tried an array of things on their menu. Just don’t order take-out. They’ve messed my take out order up 3 out of the 5 times I’ve ordered. Very disappointed with that service. Instead of apologizing and admitting what was wrong, the management just found a bunch of excuses and didn’t refund because we wouldn’t return the food. The restaurant is on the west end of town we live on the far east end... Problems: -Got home with no tortillas with fajitas. -Ordered pork in burrito, paid for it. Got beef -Charged for double fajitas recoeved single -Ordered CAMARONES AL MOJO DE AJO, no julienne peppers. -price of chimi lovers and chimi on website a dollar less than charged. -chimi lovers were large flour tortilla and single chimi were small flour tortilla. So 2 less chimi’s, smaller than the 3, and only 2 dollars less. Might as well order chimi lovers with all shrimp haha. When brought up to manager, they justified it with there only being 1 tortilla size and wouldn’t refund. This is a lie because on the menu you can get a burrito 1 size or a wet or california burrito with an extra large flour tortilla. So there are 3 sizes. Taco size, burrito size, extra large for cali and wet. Not to mention the description of the single chimi says over-stuffed. It was smaller than the chimi lover’s chimis. Very rude and not customer friendly response from management on all occassions. I advertise not going there to all people I meet now. Lived...

This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Our waiter seated us and bought chips and salsa. It took him 20 minutes to come back to take our order. I thought maybe he forgot about us. We put our order in. They only delivered my boyfriend's chimichunga. My taquitos were not delivered and the waiter ran off without an explanation. He didn't even bring us silverware, so my boyfriend sat there while his food got cold. I flagged down another waiter and explained the situation. She ran in the back and had them make me my order. The cook came out and said that my boyfriend's order was wrong and took it away mid bite. At that point I said I wanted a refund and to speak too the manager. Apparently he was too busy cooking to speak with us. Then the original waiter came out and proceeded to yell at us for complaining about him and getting him in trouble. We tried to explain why we were unhappy, but he just didn't get it. We asked for the manager and he said there was no manager. We just paid and got out of there. They took off my boyfriend's order from the bill. Don't ever go there to eat if you want a good restaurant experience. It was very upsetting and...

Horrible service ordered two coronarita's thinking o big glass and beer hanging off side. Drinks come out in a flimsy little stem margarita glass and a big beer hanging on side never seen such a thing. So top heavy had to use two hands, if let go toppled over which happened! No help had to clean our own table with towels from bathroom so sad! Server got us another drink same thing and charged us 3 @ 10.99 a piece for the drink that spilt all over table. Server said, "margaritas 2 for 1special" when first sat down, but after spilt drink due to there piss poor glass server said, "o no these are not 2 for 1." Was so ridiculous complained took 2 dollars off that's it still charging us for drink that just got to table took two sips tipped over due to how top heavy. Couldn't take beer out without drinking half drink or it would over flow as well couldn't eat without hanging on two hands.
