This bier hall is in walking distance from my place on E. Allen so I was psyched to check it out. Got there shortly after opening enjoying the late day sun coming thru windows. The Lager was good although served with 3 inch head of foam that I patiently let dissipate. The menu albeit limited is truly al la carte: order the crackers, cheese and meat all from their own category add up to a 25$ plus appy. The bartender was not much of a conversationalist - I was not expecting an intimate dialogue, but lets just say I had to crowbar an exchange about how nice the sun was and how it was to have a new place in Winooski circle. She seemed annoyed that she would need to actually have to talk to the customer beyond questions of the menu/beer. I had 2 beers, 1 type of salami, 1 type of cheese and crackers for $48 before tip. Probably won't be coming back, I can get better beer at Bevy, better cheese and meat at Misery Loves Company and better conversation with a toothless hag at McKees for less money. Peace and...
