It’s tough for me to decide whether to give this a 2 star or 3 star review, but I’m leaning more toward 2 stars: (Review left on 3/08/24) I placed a pick up order while I was at about done shopping at Target, then when I went into the Dominos store, the pick up order took about 30 or 40 minutes, which is fine given that they were busy making the pizzas for other customers.
What I did not like is that there was an older black lady that said to me in a very rude tone “What are you doing?” She said it like I was a nuisance to her, or like I was causing problems or something, which made me feel unwelcomed there, but all I did was just simply stand and waited quietly for my order while I was trying to be courteous by opening the door for the workers carrying out orders and even the ones that were simply coming back into the store + any customers that were entering into and/or out of the store!
I gently tried to explain to the lady that I was just simply waiting for my pickup order, and again, I don’t recall exactly what she said, but she asked me in a rude tone something the lines of “Is it a pickup order?” which I said something along the lines of “Yeah, I have a pickup order” and then I think she asked “What name is it under” which I think I told her it’s for my name, but she seemed to completely ignore what I said because later on, she was saying something about my order, but then one of the workers told her that my order was already in the oven.
I wasn’t even mad at her (and I’m still not), but the thing is that I was hoping that she would apologize for her behavior, but she didn’t even apologize at all, so I asked 2 employees there gently why she was rude to me, because I was trying to get a better understanding of her, which one of them said that she is normally nice and then the other one (which seemed to be a manager, but I don’t have any direct conclusions) was wondering what she said that was rude, which I explained to him that she asked me “what am I doing” which I didn’t think to address the way she said it was rude, but I did mention that the rest of the employees there were polite except for her, then he told me that he is going to talk to her about that.
The lack of empathy from that employee that was rude to me is what has influenced me to give this a 2 star review and she made me feel like I was not...
Read moreDeserves 0 stars customer service is trash. I NEVER order dominos and I will say SAVE YOUR MONEY. I usually go to papa John’s, but decided I wanted an oven baked sandwich. The dominos tracker said 1hr I ordered at 7:13pm. I patiently waited until 8:25pm and called the store because it had now been a hour and 12 mins, the tracker still wasn’t updated at all. I call the store and the “GM” stated that my order just came out the oven and they only had one delivery driver. I asked would I be compensated because it sounds like I will not receive my order until 9pm (bedtime at this point, it’s Sunday, I’d hate to imagine this store on a Friday or Saturday) she said “there’s nothing I can do” I asked was there someone else I could speak to at that time she notified me she is the GM. I told her okay well how do I file a complaint because you guys are not notifying your customers that it will take 2 hrs to receive a delivery. She said they are a franchise. So I asked to have the owner call me back because this is unacceptable (not to mention her attitude from the beginning was disgusting which in turn caused me to raise my voice at her because there is absolutely NO customer service skills) and she stated the owner doesn’t call people back so I asked how do I file a complaint, she said fill out the survey. And multiple times she cut me off and asked did I still want the order (obviously if I’ve already waited over a hour) and in the end she hung up on me after I said yes I still want my order. I will NEVER order from this store again. Save your time AND money!!!
Also it’s 8:40pm and no my order hasn’t arrived yet.
Update: it’s 9:03 pm still no order. Spent $50 . And just canceled my order. Never again. Going to...
Read moreordered 2 pizzas with no mushrooms, picked them up brought them home, one of them had mushrooms even though the order was specific no mushrooms as my wife is allergic to mushrooms. I called the restaurant to voice my concerns, I was told I could come back and they would remake the pizza, which meant going back out into the cold night. I asked if their was another option and was told they could send a coupon to my phone, I agreed to that. It is now the next day and I have received no coupon. Those cute commercials about fixing a pizza with wrong toppings are just junk, if you think about it if the pizza was fixed right to start with there would be no need for it. IF I ever order from them again I will check before paying, if its not right I go get a burger. Made a huge mistake..went back, received worst customer service ever, was cursed by the manager, told to sit down and shut up, I demanded my money back as the pizza was wrong, he told me to shut up, I asked him to call the police, he refused to do that so I said I'll call, he opened the register took out 10 dollars, gave it to me, and told me never come back....not...
