Just had dinner here. Ordered the cheese steak egg rolls, firecracker shrimp, New Orleans for myself and Combo Cajun Alfredo for my wife.
Everything except her Combo pasta was good as always. The Combo pasta had zero pieces of shrimp in it. We chalked it up to the waitress not hearing the order correctly and since the food was still good we enjoyed our meal giving them the benefit of the doubt that it would just say chicken Alfredo on the receipt.
It did in fact say Combo. There were in fact ZERO pieces of shrimp on her plate. We told the waitress who disappeared apparently to get the manager on Duty who's name was Raven. Rudely walked up to the table, not even asking what the issue was or how she could help us and immediately insisted that there was no way there wasn't shrimp on the plate (essentially calling us both liars). The check was for almost $80 and the price difference between these 2 dishes is like $3 or $4. Who would be trying to scam $4 on an $80 total?
We weren't even asking for the dish to be free, we only wanted to pay for what was provided which in FACT was not a Combo plate. The smug snarky condescending responses from Raven aside I would have just let this go but instead will be 1. Never going there again and 2. Escalating the matter to the owner and or corporate who will probably love to see the pictures of the untouched dish with clearly zero pieces of shrimp on it. Had "Raven" even been REMOTELY open to the idea that the kitchen could make a mistake I would have showed the pictures to her as well but she has the customer service skills of a potato so it likely wouldn't have mattered anyway.
Will anything be done about this? Probably not. Will I care? Not really. Will I go back? No. Will they care that I'm not? No. Does Raven have the most inept managerial skills of all time in the service industry? 100%.
Its really remarkable how bad she is.
Edit: Also, if ownership would like to contact me privately about the half dozen health code violations I'm totally NOT going to report that I witnessed while I was there so those can be sorted out that would be...
Read moreWent to “Kickback jacks” after my son graduation this past Saturday June 8,2019. I understand that restaurant’s get busy, especially Saturday evening and this place was packed. We got there at 6:00pm and asked to be seated, we were a party of 9 including myself. They tried to separate us by splitting us up after we waited an hour and 45 minutes which we were told it would only be a 25 minute wait and in the meantime another graduation family came in and some of their staff came from the back and was taking pictures with them and their party was seated 15 minutes during our wait and they had more people with them. We found two tables right beside each other and we were so tired of standing there for so long and watching food go to the group of people that were seated before us and came in after us, we asked them if we could put the two tables together so we could all sit together and celebrate and the manager in the front told us NO, WE CANNOT PUT TABLES TOGETHER, all though the tables were put together for them but not us.They had about 3 tables together We were getting really madd and just about to leave but we saw the two tables and grabbed them quickly and she was so rude with us and we finally got our food 45 minutes later then they bring my sisters food out to her with a Big Black Curly Hair right on top of her Fish Plate, we can’t believe that the cook or server did not see that and tried to serve it to us, so my sister did not get to eat with us and had to wait 30 more minutes for her food to arrive. I feel that her plate should have been free or at least discounted. I feel bad because I was the one who said “LETS GO TO OUTBACK JACKS!!! We came straight home and looked at the clock it said 11:15 and we started at 6:00 pm we spent about $300.00 bucks there and we will never go back. We were treated unfair and I feel like it’s my fault for recommending...
Read moreWord to the wise do not order the chili!! Not sure what kind of "meat" they use but I is inedible. It was like eating grit aka sand. Also if your waitresses name is Danayah ask to be moved to another table. She is one of the worst I have ever had. The waitress was standing talking to coworkers instead of taking our order then I ordered my steak medium and when it was brought out you could see the blood puddled on the top I cut in it and it was raw waitress nowhere to be found finally a girl walked by in a blue shirt and we got her attention and she took the steak back to the kitchen and come back to the table and told us she checked the ticket and it did say medium.......like I would lie???? Then the waitress suddenly appears when the girl in the blue shirt is there and the girl in blue kept talking about how much better they were than texas roadhouse but I don't see any difference if you can't cook a steak to order also I said I wanted cheese and onions on my chili and we stopped the waitress on one of her few trips by because I knew they would charge me for it so I wanted it i then asked for 2 to go boxes and a to go cup she brings 2 to go boxes and a small bowl which I'm assuming was for the chili which was not even big enough to hold half the bowl I planned to take home to the dog I asked again for a to go cup because my drink was full and she brings a kiddie cup did not even hold all the drink. My husband never did get a refill on his tea. The chicken tenders were nothing but breading my son would not eat them because there was no meat there. She brought the bill and was given the card she went somewhere and a few minutes later walked by still had our card and stopped at another table to take their order still with our card and we wait while she goes to the back I guess to put their order in finally we get our card back so we could leave but hey the...
