La Costenita Mexican Winston — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

May 4th. My husband and I were looking for elotes and this "restaurant" populated in a Google search. We know the area and quickly realized it was in the hotel there. Some hotel restaurants are good though, and we knew the hotel was opening under new management soon, so we decided to give it a try. First you have to find it tucked away on the other side of the lobby. Once you do, it's just a small space with about 6 booths which were being used by hotel guests, some in PJs, who were using the microwaves. DO NOT EAT HERE if you don’t want to be greeted by roaches. The server came and laugh and told the manager to come and get it, the manager proceeded to pick it up with a napkin - squish it in her hand over the table as if this was the norm. And I told her we shouldn’t have to pay. She said “We can’t just let you go without paying but I can put a discount on your bill”. The discount was $3.00, basically the cost of the water.
