Okay Coffee — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

I had their nitro brew, which was absolutely amazing! I never drink cold coffee, but that was the only option at the time. But thankfully, I wasn’t disappointed! This is a new establishment and they have some amazing ideas in the works and plans for hot brew as well! I would say it’s a specialty and niche coffee shop. I feel like this is a place for people who are creative. People who like to think outside of the box. People who are healing. People who have a good sense of humor. People who want to try something new. People who want to find some understanding. We decided to take a roadtrip to downtown Winston-Salem. My daughter told me about a new coffee place, Okay Coffee, near Small Batch. We found a parking spot not far from Okay Coffee. We walked inside and was welcomed by Matthew. He was very friendly and welcoming. He told us that Okay Coffee has been opened for three weeks now.

The name says it all. “Okay Coffee” the coffee is okay. Nothing great. The atmosphere is stale, uninviting and empty. It’s giving liberal millennial. The guy behind the counter is friendly however his girlfriend is super unfriendly and almost acts as if she’s bothered that you are there. Bad for sales and bad for customer service.
