This place is a hidden gem in Winter Garden, Florida. It's a tiny kiosk in a beautiful food court that serves the best melted cheese in the world: Swiss Raclette. My family ate this several times a year growing up and became known as The Raclette Family by local supermarkets. The guy who owns this shop is passionate about serving this cheese and converting those who have never known about this magical food. It is super unusual that it is in Florida because it is most famous in the Swiss Alps. Definitely go here often! I will be dreaming of my next visit and have to try one of the sandwiches. This restaurant used to be a favorite. Especially after a bike ride on the West Orange Trail. I left the Winter Garden area nearly 2 years ago. Yesterday I came back for a bike ride and was also looking forward to getting a wonderful sandwich.. the bike ride was fantastic. However, the sandwich was a disaster.. the original owner sold the establishment. The thickness of the sandwich was less than half of what it used to be. What to say about Morthan Cheese? It is a great take on cheese delight, Brazilian style. The owner is usually the one tending to it so he is totally involved and invested in the business. The raclette cheese used for the dishes is actually a Swiss traditional cheese and it's a must. After eating it go to Switzerland and have raclette, especially in fondue. You'll thank me later.
