City of Winter Garden — Local services in Winter Garden

Don’t expect any good service from the management part of the City of Winter Garden for your water and sewage as I’ve been fighting with them since December 2024 to get an adjustment showed them the repairs and everything for my address and it’s just now getting resolved and then the amount that I was told several times by management what it would cost of my adjustment I was lied to and then I come back into the office today to speak to them about it and I was then told don’t worry OK because you were told we’ll go ahead and adjust the extra and then their boss comes out and tells me no we will not be doing this after their employee just told me that they were going to adjust it and at first I said no, it’s OK I understand but then because I was trying to be nice and then the principle of the matter the person told me no no we’re gonna take care of this for you and then their boss comes back and says no we will not be doing this and I feel bad for the young lady that sitting at the front because she’s been very nice the whole entire time, but don’t expect good customer service especially if you’ve been a 20 year resident at the City of Winter Garden Their new automated system now charges you 2.95% when paying online or over the phone they want you to bring in cash or check who does that nowadays most people pay online or over the phone when was the last time most of you’ve wrote a check I would say probably slim to a few They are doing this to make it more of an inconvenience for us and also to get more money so there used to be $1.50 charge if you did a payment over the phone so if your bill is over $100 now you’re gonna be paying over 3 to 4 dollars to process it over the phone I wish you all well but you should all be aware of these situations and the service you think you...

Let me start by saying I love downtown Winter Garden and I think they do a great job with managing all the events and everyday goings on. I would absolutely give 5 stars, however they only get 4 because of an ongoing issue I've noticed for at least 2 years. There is a handicap ramp located between City Hall and the small parking lot next to Cilantro restaurant. The handicap ramp is always blocked by a legally parked car, and I can't believe nobody in city hall or public works has not seen this clear violation of ADA requirements. I am not handicapped, but I can imagine how frustrating it would be for someone in a wheelchair or walker trying to maneuver this particular ramp. What a lovely place to take a stroll in the evening at Christmastime! If you're looking for a place to get you in the holiday spirit, you've found the right place. Bring your appetite for great food and goodies, and you'll want your camera for some beautiful holiday photos! There are also some cute shops, but get there early before they close. The Christmas lights and decorations are beautiful, and everywhere you go there's Christmas music. You'll also see people rolling through on the coolest golf carts I've ever seen!
