Except for a small selection of Boar’s Head meats, everything that can be made by hand is, from condiments to cookies. The award-winning Buffalo chicken sandwich might seem ordinary on paper, but the combination of tender beer-braised chicken, fragrant Marbleu blue Monterey Jack cheese, house-pickled celery and house-made ranch and Buffalo sauce distills the essence of Buffalo wings into a handheld delight (and I don’t even like Buffalo wings). Crisp and hearty ciabatta rolls from Winter Garden’s Pane D’Or are a smoky platform for a market tomato and fresh fior di latte Caprese with the perfect touch of balsamic. I ordered a ham sandwich and requested to add bacon. The cook was very rude and refused to do it. He made one of his workers come over and yell at the person taking the order. She told her in a very unnecessary tone, “we don’t do that here and make sure you never do that again”. Honestly it’s two slices of bacon! It’s not that serious. I wasn’t asking for it to be free. He could’ve just upcharged me. I hated watching the girl that took my order get berated for doing something normal. Anyways, just go eat somewhere else less pretentious. EDIT: the owner just responded to me. He was upset I requested a refund for my sandwich for him not completing my order. I also asked for the refund because of he sent his employee to berate the girl who took my order. That’s not cool. He also called me “creepy” in his response for paying for the coffee of someone behind me and paying it forward. This is weird behavior for a business owner. I won’t stop blessing others because you think it’s creepy. As I look at other one star reviews, it looks like this is a pattern...
